I did that - once.  Not a fan of fiberglass handles.  Seems like the kit
came with epoxy and the head was glued to the shaft.  IIRC, there was a
groove around the handle where it fit in the head to give the epoxy a
locking notch after it hardened.  Here's an example how-to-
