Chris,

First, welcome to the oldtools porch. I've been sittin here rockin since the
porch was built and there is no more comfortable place on the internet for a
fella with nostalgic tendencies in tools and woodworking. It's not much of a
support group for "toolaholics" though. That doesn't bother me since I can quit
anytime. Yep, anytime I want. I can, I really can.

Second, I'm sorry I can't help you with information on Round Top. I've never
attended, though I've wanted to many times. My excuses range from work to WORK
,
compounded by the fact that I live in the Dallas area, which isn't exactly clos
e
(about two or three states away by Northeast standards). I know several people
who make the trek regularly though, and to the person they all think it is a
fabulous place to go for bargains on just about anything you can imagine. So
good luck, and have some fun.

Third, and the reason for writing....please consider posting a trip report when
you have the time (I'm guessing LaGrange isn't a hot spot of night life for an
out-of-towner). I hope to make the trip next April or October, and I/we would
appreciate hearing of your successes and failures (God forbide).

Mike
Just Say (tm PL), we turned the temperature down a little when we heard you wer
e
coming.
