Nice to read your story about Bretton Wade, Gary. I have a Stanley #4-1/2 I
bought from Bretton at a PNTC meeting many years ago. I think of him every time
I pick it up. It came to me with a Hock iron and tuned to within a millimeter of
its life. Performs like a champ.

Bretton (a.k.a. "Nosmo King") was a master of April Fool's Day posts. Whatever
happened to that fine Porch tradition? April 1 is coming soon. Time to put on
your collective thinking caps, fellow galoots!
