Geez..this month is already 2/3rds in the bag so to speak, sigh. The
markets have been kinda getting weathered out, but this weekend and
especially Sunday proved to be pretty strong.  I haven't had time to get
to that stuff yet, but I will.  Still there are lots of fresh goodies
this time around.

PayPal is preferred (if you use it) on all items. It's easier for me to

ship items off of a paid PayPal invoice, especially First Class ones.

Checks and money orders are still welcome.

And remember........da more ya buy, the cheaper they fly!

First contact (that is e-mail, or phone) that says I want it gets it.
Prices do not include shipping.  All items are shipped with Delivery
Confirmation. Insurance, unless it is a big order or a very fragile item
is optional. Just let me know. Also, I am shipping a lot more stuff via
First Class mail. There will be a small amount added to the shipping
cover the cost of the padded mailer. I don't get them for free.

Please put your name and address in the message. Saves time and email
traffic!

Small Hand Forged Blacksmith Upset Flatter Head.  Measuring 3 3/16"
long, the face is about 1/2" wide, 15/16" high, and this weighs 9 oz
unboxed.  Not signed as to the maker.  This is in decent condition and
was cleaned.  There is some overall light pitting.  The face is good
other than the patina.  The striking end has either a deep ding or small
chip, but that is good otherwise.  The punched eye is ready to drop on a
handle.  This ain't minty, but these smaller ones are sure few and very
far between.  $19.00

the edge to the end of the socket, the blade is 6" long, this is 12 1/8"
overall, and this weighs 4 oz unboxed.  This is in reasonably good
condition and was cleaned.  The back has some scuffs, but is clean
otherwise.  The sides and top have a few stained and frosted spots.  The
socket is good.  The handle is a replacement and is good also.  This
ain't perfect, but it will get the job done.  $23.00

Vintage Iron Hollow Face Spokeshave Or Spoke Shave.  Measuring 9 1/2"
long, the blade is 2" wide, and this weighs 9 1/2 oz unboxed.  This is
signed, but I can't read the mark, but this is not a Stanley No. 55.
This is in fair condition and was cleaned. The body has some overall
light patina.  The sole has some pitting, but the mouth is good.  The
cap also has some light pitting.  The blade does have some overall
pitting, some of it on the deep side.  The screw works.  This is what it
is, but if you can come up with a better blade, it will get the job
done.  $25.00

the top of the handle, the blade is 2 11/16" long, this is 7 7/8"
overall, and this weighs 2 3/4 oz unboxed.  This is in reasonably good
condition and was cleaned.  The back is good other than some very light
spots of patina.  The edge will need some work.  The top is also good.
The handle is original.  That has some staining, but it's solid.  This
ain't pristine, but it will get the job done.  $17.00

H Disston & Sons D-23 26 Inch 5 1/2 PT Rip Saw.  Measuring 29" overall,
the blade is 25 7/8" long, 1 3/8" high at the toe, 5 3/4" high right in
front of the tote, this is sharpened to 5 1/2 PT Rip, and this weighs 1
lb 8 oz unboxed.  This was made by Disston somewhere in the 1947 to 1953
era.  This is in reasonably good condition and was lightly cleaned.  The
blade has some staining and some spots of light patina, but overall,
nothing too bad.  All the teeth are present and this is sharp, however,
there is a bit of a wave along the edge for the first 6" or so, after
that it's fairly straight.  The tote is good and has almost all of the
original finish.  There are a few tiny bits of paint that didn't want to
come off and a few small dings, but it's solid.  This ain't minty, but
good rip saws sure are getting few and very far between these days.  $40.00

Early Pivot Joint Jointers Bevel Square.  The blade is 7 1/2" long, the
handle is 4 7/8" high, and this weighs 3 1/2 oz unboxed.  Not signed as
to the maker.  This is in decent condition and was cleaned.  The blade
has some spots of pitting and there is some crusty around the joint
area.  The edges and corners are fairly good and this does hold
position.  It is a little snug going all the way into the handle and the
joint has been "tightened" a few times over the years.  The rosewood
handle does have some wear and dings, but it's solid.  This ain't
pristine, but these guys sure not a commonly found tool, at least around
here.  $20.00

Vintage Wood Carvers Mallet.  Measuring 8 7/8" overall, the head is 3
1/4" high, and this weighs 9 1/4 oz unboxed.  Not signed as to the
maker.  This looks be be maple.  This is in well used condition and was
cleaned.  There is some wear to the head along with some checks and some
dings and bits of paint down in the grain.  The handle also has some
stains and thin checks, but overall this guy is still solid enough to
use.  This ain't pretty or perfect, but it is a tool with a whole lotta
history going that still will get the job done.  $19.00

head is 3 1/2" long, the face is roughly 5/8" in diameter, the claws are
7/8" wide, and this weighs 8 1/2 oz unboxed.  Not signed as to the
maker.  This is in decent condition and was cleaned. The head has some
light pitting and lots of dings.  The face also has some light dings, a
deeper one in the center, and a few small chips around the edge.  The
claws are fairly good other than some visible forge weld lines on the
tops.  The punched eye looks to be good.  The handle is old and is
probably original.  That has lots of patina, dings, stains, and what
have you.  The head does wiggle a bit, but does not come off.  This
ain't pristine, but the working tools of this age rarely are.  $17.00

light spots of patina on the head, but overall nothing too bad.  The
face does have some dings and wear.  The peen is good save for some very
light dings.  The eye is good.  This ain't minty, but it will get the

long and this weighs 3 1/2 oz unboxed.  This is in reasonably good
condition and was cleaned.  There is a little staining and frosting on
the head area.  The jaws are good and close tight.  The joint is also
good, but could stand a little oil.  The handles have that nice pattern
to them.  This ain't pristine, but it's a top quality tool that will get
the job done. $14.00

Vintage Small Belt Camping Hatchet Axe.  Measuring 13 3/4" overall, the
head is 4 3/8" long (across the center), the edge is 2 3/8" high
(straight across), and this weighs 1 lb 1 3/4 oz unboxed.  Not signed as
to the maker.  This is in decent condition and was cleaned.  There are
some dings and dots of pitting on the front side and some more light
pitting on the back.  The edge will need some work.  The poll has some
pitting and dings.  The eye looks to be good.  The handle is old and
could be the original one.  That has some dings under the eye, some
stains, user initials stamped near the end, and a strap hole, but it's
solid. The head is on tight, at least sitting here, thanks to some extra
nails and bits.  This ain't minty, but it is handy size, and it will get
the job done.  $42.00

Red Diamond 10 Inch Draw Knife.  Measuring 16 1/4" overall, the blade is
9 7/8" long, 1 5/16" wide across the edge, and this weighs 1 lb 3 1/4 oz
unboxed.  Red Diamond was a brand name used by the Robert J. Masback
Hardware Co.  This is in reasonably good condition and was cleaned.  The
back is good save for some very light frosting and a few light scuffs.
The edge will need a touch up.  The top is good and was never struck.
The black finish on the front and ferrules is original.  There are a few
spots where it's worn a little, but most of it is present.  The handles
also have most of their original finish, plus a coat of wax.  They do
have some dings, stains, and a little wear.  The right one does wiggle a
touch.  This ain't pristine, but it will get the job done.  $42.00

Vintage German Wood Horned Scrub Plane.  Measuring 9 3/8" long, 1 13/16"
wide, the iron is 1 1/4" wide at the edge, and this weighs 1 lb 6 oz
unboxed.  The iron is marked Columbia Germany, there is something marked
on the toe, but I can't read it.  This is in decent condition and was
cleaned.  The body has stains, scratches, dings, and wear.  There is a
thin check on the top from the horn to the start of the mouth, but the
wedge abutments and cheeks are good.  The horn was pinned with a couple
of small nails at some point and does wiggle a hair.  The sole does have
some wear and scratches.  The mouth is open a little, but that's to be
expected with these guys.  The iron does have some spots of pitting on
the steel area, but the edge is fairly good.  The wedge has some
staining and is warped towards the horn, but it holds the iron tight.
This ain't pretty or perfect, but it will get the job done.  $27.00

long and this weighs 12 1/2 oz unboxed.  The Wells company was a long
time Greenfield MA maker of taps and dies.  This is in reasonably good
condition and was cleaned.  There is some overall light shop patina, but
nothing too bad.  The jaws are good and the adjustable arm travels the
full distance smoothly.  There ain't much more to go wrong with one of
these guys.  This is quality tool by a top maker that will get the job
done.  $20.00

across the inside of the sweep at the edge, this is 13 1/4" overall, and
this weighs 4 3/4 oz unboxed.  New England Edge Tool was a brand name
used by Sargent on their chisel line.  This is in reasonably good
condition and was cleaned.  The inside of the sweep has some stained and
lightly frosted spots, but overall nothing too bad.  The back is clean
as well and the edge is fairly sharp.  The socket is good and was never
struck.  I'm not sure if the handle is original, but that is good and
solid.  This is a quality tool that will get the job done.  $23.00

is good.  The striking end has some mushrooming and dings.  The punched
eye looks to be good.  The handle is old.  That has some stains, a
little chipping on the end, but it's solid.  The head is on tight.  This
isn't the usual style for one of these guys, but it's a solid tool that

styles, this one was made for the Domestic Sewing Machine line.  This is
in decent condition and was cleaned.  The blade has some frosting.  The
tip was made for a specialized application.  The finish on the handle
area is worn. The wrench end (1/2" and 11/16") is good with no wear or
cracks that I can see.  This ain't minty, but it sure ain't a very
commonly found tool either.  $27.00

Chapin Stephens Boxwood Marking Gage Or Gauge.  The beam is 9 1/8" long
and this weighs 4 1/2 oz unboxed.  Not signed as to the maker, but the
railroad track rulings mark this as one of their products.  This is in
reasonably good condition and was cleaned. The beam has some stains,
dings, scratches, and a small user added hanging hole.  The rulings are
readable and the point is fairly good.  The head has a couple of thin
checks on the top, some stains, and a few dings, but it's solid.  The
screw works and holds, but it is missing the small square metal shoe
that goes between the beam and the end of the screw.  Stuff happens.
This ain't perfect, but it's a working tool that will get the job done.

brazing splash on the one jaw and the usual patina.  The jaws are good,
the points cross instead of meeting.  The joint is good with no play as
is the rivet.  The one handle end is bent for a better grip and the
straight one was ground to a thin screwdriver tip.  This ia neat pair of
tongs to say the least.  $22.00

patina.  The jaw teeth have some light dings, but are fairly good.  The
claws close down tight.  The through the center joint has a little
play.  The tack claws, well the one is bent, the center one is broken
off, and the last one is short.  Such is life.  This ain't pristine, but
it's a solid tool that will get the job done.  $28.00

lower corner.  The edges are good and crispy and the screws, tabs, and
nuts are good.  This will work with the Brown & Sharpe and Lufkin rules

signed as to the maker, but very few of these were. This is in good
condition and was cleaned.  The beam is good other than a few light
stains.  There is a very slight bow (like 1/16" at the center) looking
from the side, but that won't affect this being used.  The head is also
good.  The point is original and sharp and the screw works.  I gotta
say, that these guys sure have not been showing much at all of late and

Uncommon Hand Forged Cobblers Last Set..  The shaft is 11 7/8" long, the
bench tang is 7/8" to 15/16" square, the three lasts are 4 3/8", 6
11/16", and 8 1/16" in length, and this all weighs 7 lbs 12 1/2 oz
unboxed.  Not signed as to the maker other than some chisel marks on the
tag.  These are in decent condition and were cleaned.  The shaft has
some overall light pitting and patina, but you can see the graining of
the wrought iron.  The tang has a little mushrooming at the end.  The
top end is good and fits all three of the lasts.  The small last has
some small checks at the tip and a little chipping around the hole, but
that is good otherwise.  The middle last also has a check at the end,
and a couple of thin voids showing on the underside.  The biggest one
has some mushrooming at both ends and a partial drill hole on the
underside.  I guess that making shoes wasn't the only thing that it got
used for.  This sure ain't pretty or perfect, but unlike the cast iron
lasts which are a dime a dozen, these hand forged sets are few and very
far between and if you are doing any sort of re-enacting leatherwork,
this would be a great addition to any kit.  $125.00

Early Hand Forged Bowl Or Gutter Adze Head.  Measuring 6 3/4" long
(straight across), 2 5/8" wide across the edge, and this weighs 1 lb 11
1/2 oz unboxed.  Not signed as to the maker.  This is in decent
condition and was cleaned.  There is some overall pitting and patina.
There are a couple of voids on the top of the blade area, but nothing
too deep.  The underside of the blade area has some light pitting and
some roughness left over from when this was forged.  The edge is good
and is fairly sharp.  The eye has a shallow check at the top, but it
doesn't travel too deep into the eye (like 1/8").  There is some
mushrooming on the poll and I did run a file over some sharp spots on
the top.  This ain't pretty or perfect, but these guys are sure getting
few and very far between any more.  $65.00

L S Starrett No 83B 6 Inch Yankee Pattern Divider & Orig Box. This all
weighs 5 1/2 oz unboxed.  This is NOS (that's New Old Stock) and was not
cleaned.  There are couple of very light rust spots on the spinner from
setting around, the rest of the tool is good.  The tips have a little
staining from the plastic protector.  The quick setting nut does it's
job.  The box is also good.  This is a top quality tool in the right
kind of condition. $40.00

overall, the face is 1 7/8" long (down the center), 1 13/16" wide at the
end, and this weighs 11 oz unboxed.  Not signed as to the maker.  This
is in reasonably good condition and was cleaned. There is some overall
light pitting and frosting.  The face has some light dings on both
sides, but that's whatchacall an occupational hazard for this tool.
This ain't minty, but these older ones rarely show up much at all any
more.  Just saying. $30.00

4 3/16" wide (straight across), and this weighs 8 1/2 oz unboxed.  Not
signed as to the maker.  This is in reasonably good condition and was
cleaned.  There are some spots of light pitting on both sides of the
head and some dings left over from when this was forged.  The edge also
has some light dings, but nothing too bad.  The handle has a void along
the one side where the metal was rolled, but it's solid.  This ain't
perfect, but these guys are sure getting hard to come by of late.  $35.00

H Chapin No 172 1/2 Inch Match Tongue Molding Plane.  Measuring 9 9/16"
long, the cut is 1/2" overall in width, 3/16" in the center, and this
weighs 13 1/2 oz unboxed.  The model number was overstamped at the
factory.  This is in reasonably good condition and was cleaned.  There
are some stains on the body and some crusty on the heel that refused to
come off.  The sole is good save for some funky back by the heel and the
mouth is tight.  The fence is plated with iron strips and that is good
other than a few spots of light patina.  The iron is clean on the face
and the wedge is good save for some light dings.  I did not get the plow
plane to go with this guy.  This ain't pristine, but these smaller sizes
sure do not show up very often.  $24.00

the edge to the top of the handle, the blade is 2 7/8" long, this is 9
1/16" overall, and this weighs 2 1/4 oz unboxed.  This is in reasonably
good condition and was cleaned.  The back is clean, but somebody rounded
the edge and thinned down the sides a little.  The rest of the blade is
good.  There is a check in the brass ferrule.  The handle is original
and is also good other than some staining.  This ain't pristine, but
it's a solid tool that will get the job done.  $17.00

Neat Small User Crafted Screwdriver.  Measuring 4 1/8" long, the tip is
3/16" wide, and this weighs 3/4 oz unboxed.  The shaft is marked Germany
and I suspect that this started life as a small Perfect Handle
screwdriver.  This is in decent condition and was cleaned.  There are
some scuffs and spots of light pitting on the blade and shaft.  The tip
is fairly good.  The handle looks to be beech.  That has some dings,
stains, and wear, but it's solid and on tight.  Note the center spot of
either lead or pewter which is a neat touch.  This ain't minty, but it
sure is neat.  $15.00

to the top of the handle, the blade is 3 1/2" long, this is 9 3/4"
overall, and this weighs 2 1/2 oz unboxed.  The mark is faint, it looks
like maybe an eagle and the initials H N.  But the style of the handle
says English, so that's what I going with. This is in reasonably good
condition and was cleaned.  The back is good other than some light
frosting.  There are a few small lightly pitted spots on the top.  The
edge is good.  The oak handle is also good other than a few light
dings.  This ain't pristine, but it will get the job done.  $17.00

some some cleaning on this guy, and I did a little detailing on it.
There are some overall light scuffs and a user name on the back.  The
notches are all good and the markings are all readable.  This ain't

was cleaned.  There is some overall light pitting and patina.  The tip
was relieved at some point in time.  The tang is good.  This ain't minty

Vintage Oak Coach Carriage Makers Double Pistol Grip Router Plane.
Measuring 17 1/2" long, 4 1/2" high. and this weighs 2 lbs 3 1/2 oz
unboxed.  Not signed as to the maker.  This is in decent condition and
was cleaned.  The body has some dings, stains, a few hole of worm, and
the usual this and that.  There is an old repair to the one side, but
it's solid.  Both of the blades have some pitting on the sides, but the
tips are good and are fairly sharp. The wedges are good as well.  I did
replace both of the fence screws, the originals were too rusted to save,
and I also had to re-line the holes, but they work and hold.  This is
fair from minty, and it sure ain't got that kind of price tag either,
but these guys are sure few and very far between.  $80.00

are 11 3/8" overall, the tips are 5/16" wide, and this all weighs 2 lbs
2 oz unboxed.  these are from the early 1960s.  These are NOS, but they
had some spots of rust on the shafts and blades and I did do a little
cleaning.  There are still a few stained spots, but nothing too bad.
The one ferrule has some light funky.  A couple of the handles have some
small dings to the finish.  The original box has some stains and wear,
but it's solid.  These ain't 100% pristine, but sets like this are sure
few and very far between.  $125.00

TWO Neat Vintage Small Specialty Clamps.  The body on the upper one is 3
3/8" long, the jaws open from 13/16" to 1 7/8" (at the center), the
lower one is 3 3/8" long, the jaws open from 1" to 2 1/8", and they
weigh 4 3/4 oz unboxed.  Not signed as to the maker other than the same
shop number on the back sides.  These are in decent condition and were
cleaned.  The body on the upper one has some staining and an old
repair.  The lower one has some light frosting and pitting.  The jaws
are good.  The upper screw sticks a little and could stand a drop of
oli, but it and the lower one both travel the full distance.  What these
are for, I cannot say, but they are neat tools that will still get the
job done.  $22.00

Vintage User Crafted Patternmakers Router Plane.  Measuring 7 9/16" long
across the sole, 3 1/2" wide at the center (excluding the screw), the
blade is 1/4" wide at the edge, and this weighs 2 lbs 2 1/2 oz unboxed.
Not signed as to the maker, but pattern makers did make a lot of their
own tools.  This is in decent condition and was cleaned.  The sole has
some casting flaws, light pitting, and some scratches.  The sole is
fairly flat.  The finish on the body is worn.  The knobs have some dings
and stains, but are solid.  Both screws do work (which was quite the
project in itself).  The clamp is solid and the screw works.  The blade
is clean on the face.  This looks like it could take the Stanley router
plane blades, but I don't have any here to try.  This guy sure ain't
gonna win no best of show awards at the county fair, but it's a solid
tool that will get the job done.  $55.00

weighs 3 oz unboxed.  Not signed as to the maker.  This is in good

head is 3 3/4" long, the face is 1 1/16" in diameter, the peen is 7/16"
in diameter, and this weighs 1 lb 8 1/4 oz unboxed.  Not signed as to
the maker.  This is in reasonably good condition and was cleaned.  There
is some wear to the finish on the head, but these guys were never real
pretty to start with. The face has a few light dings and a couple of
deeper ones on the lower part of the edge.  The peen is good.  The
handle is original.  That has some stains, but it's solid and the head
is on tight, at least sitting here.  This ain't minty, but it's a solid
tool that will get the job done.  $22.00

is 3 11/16" long, 7/8" to 1" wide, this is 2 3/8" high at the back end,
and this weighs 2 lbs 2 1/4 oz unboxed.  This is in decent condition,
the only cleaning I did was to take some recent rust off of the face.
The paint job looks to be somewhat recent. The face has some scuff marks
from a previous cleaning and some dots of light pitting.  The horn is
good.  The base is a little uneven.  This ain't perfect, but it's a neat
older tool to say the least.  $30.00

Stanley No 2 Traut 1898 Patent 6 Inch Try & Mitre Square. This weighs 5
oz unboxed.  Justus A. Traut of New Britain, CT was granted Design Pat.
No. D28,265 on Feb. 08, 1898 for the design of this tool which was based
on the original Winterbottom patent. This is in decent condition and was
cleaned.  The blade has some overall frosting and areas of light pitting
and there are a few deeper dots on the back.  The rulings are readable
for the most part.  The edges are good, but the corners have a wee bit
of wear.  The rosewood handle also has some wear on the edges.  This
ain't pristine, but it will get the job done.  $17.00

TWO Uncommon Small Metal Spinning Lathe Tools.  The one on the left
measures 2 1/4" from the tip to the top of the handle, 9 1/16" overall,
the one on the right measures 3 1/16" from the tip to the top of the
handle, 10 3/16" overall, and they weigh 4 3/4 oz unboxed.  Both are
marked E. Z. Newell on the heads, I'm thinking that he was the maker.
These are in reasonably good condition and were cleaned.  Both of the
heads have some light patina on both sides of the heads, but the edges
are good.  Both handles are oak.  The one on the right has some staining
and a little chipping on the end knob.  The one on the right has an X
marked on the one side and some stains, but both are solid and the heads
are in tight.  These ain't minty, but these tools are sure few and very

was cleaned.  The body has some spots of frosting and staining, but
nothing too bad.  The flat face is good, the beveled face has a couple
of small dings at the far end.  The pointer is good save for a slight
bend.  The locking screw works.  This ain't minty, but it will get the
job done. $22.00

overall, and this weighs 6 oz unboxed.  This is in reasonably good
condition and was cleaned.  The inside of the sweep is clean other than
a couple of dots and a wee bit of frosting.  The back is also good.  The
socket is good and was never hit.  The handle might be a replacement or
was re-fitted at some point in time, but it's solid.  This is a top

blade has some light scuffs, but nothing too bad patina wise.  The edges

locking screw works.  This ain't perfect, but it's the same style tool

Klein Tools Co No 64005 12 Inch Sweep Brace.  Made in Merry Olde
England.  This weighs 2 lbs 9 1/2 oz unboxed.  This is in good condition
and was not cleaned.  The plating on the arms has a few light funky
spots, but all of it is present.  The chuck and jaws are good.  The
chuck shell has one small spot where the cross hatching is worn a
little.  The ratchet works in both directions and the locked position,
but could stand a little oil.  The grip and pad have some light dings.
The grip is a little stiff, moving wise, but that's how it was made.
