While on holiday, I visited the Geraldine Vintage Car & Machinery
Museum here in New Zealand

A Very interesting one.

I met a guy over there, and he's looking for information about a pipe vise.
N0 100, made by Prentiss Vise Co.

I could not find much on google, and this model is not mentioned in
the few catalogues available on internet archive.

I found this US patent from 1897 which seems to fit with that vise:
