Morning Mr. Seeliger - Thanks for bringing this possibility up! I searched
the old tools archive and found that very little is said about counterfeit
bedrock planes and virtually nothing is said about how to detect "fake"
bedrocks; this leads me to think that this topic might be a very
interesting thread for the group? I'd be willing to provide pictures,
measurements and answer questions to the forum for discussion. This plane
is the cornerstone of my stock prep, so you'll forgive my unwillingness to
let it travel to, Washington, is it?
