Eric,

Oh! The Gizmocity!
( Paraphrase of the famous Hindenburg news broadcast. )

Probably one of the most mechanically complex manual machines we've ever
discussed on the Porch.

Thanks for posting this!

Holy Smokes Eric!

I hope I never stumble across one of these. I've got too many gizmoes already
that just tempt me into folly again and again....this one
would be even harder to resist than most of what's lurking around here....

thanks, I guess---and all the best, gam in OlyWA/USA

Here's a link to the patent of that Foley device (courtesy of Martin
Donnelly) http://www.mjdtools.com/auction/graphics/1224293.pdf.
I actually have one although I haven't tried using it.  Have a lot of Foley
stuff that I really should let go because I'm not getting any younger.A Foley
387 hand saw sharpener, a power setter, a retoothing machine and old hand
powered retoother including the appropriate guidebars required to use it.  This
is way too heavy to ship so it would need to be picked up in CT.  If there's any
interest, let me know and I'll try toget a list together for the package.
