My father-in-law gave me what I believe is a Bridgeport Boy Scout hatchet.
However, it's lacking a BSA logo. I know Bridgeport Hardware Manufacturing
Co. of Bridgeport, CT, was founded in 1899, and added official Boy Scout
hatchets to their line up in 1934. They produced these hatchets, in one
variation or another, until 1969. Does anyone know if Bridgeport produced
Boy Scout hatchets *without *BSA logos? The google machine is not helping
me answer this question, so any info will be greatly appreciated.
