When my family and I moved here from Michigan some years ago, I think
the saw that came with my miter box (an 80's vintage Craftsman) failed
to make the move.  I went to the Borg and bought a "miter saw" but it's
only 14" and just not long enough to get a decent stroke in the box.  If
any Galoots have one they can part with, I'd be willing to pay a fair
price for it.
