I am so excited. There has been so much talk on this list about the stanley 45.
It has made get the itch to pick one up myself. However being the cheap Bas***,
uh galoot that I am. I just went pay over a certain price. The few I have found
on the flea, sell for beyond my means. (Or should I say, what my loml says is my
means.)
I have recently reserved my search to local estate sales. However they seem in
short supply in these neck of the woods. Until recently that is. At a recent
estate sale I did not find one, but two, complete 45's. One a bit worse for
wear, with quite a cut of rust, with lots to be desired of the finish. However
the other seemed hardly used. I could not believe my luck as it was the second
day of the sale, and nobody picked these beauties, up.
Well I did for the princely some of 1.00 a piece. Can you believe it? It shows
