Most libraries are responsive to patron requests.  My library has gotten many
videos and books after receiving a "purchase suggestion".  They've turned down a
few, but usually if you wait 6 months to a year and resubmit they'll end up
buying it.  In case you weren't aware, you can also use Interlibrary Loan to get
your hands on out of print tools books, catalogs, etc.  I used Interlibrary Loan
to view PTAMPIA, the Stanley guide, Smith's key, a few of Ken Robert's
books...the list goes on...  The only down side is that they must be returned
when the loan period expires.  Ben
