Dean's "Leathercraft: Techniques and Designs" (Bloomington: McKnight and McKnight, 1950) there is a particularly good section on shopmade stamps on pp. 60-65. Or read Moxon on making type - the filing of punches, (and counter punches) has tremendous overlap with the stamps being discussed. BugBear |
