Hey gang As some may know, I work for a pharmaceutical company. As part of a patient awareness boosting program, they have huge posters of patients attached to the side of some buildings. As I was walking out of a building I used to work in years ago, I noticed a hammer head showing through the window. I looked more closely, and saw the wedge of a wooden molding plane. Went outside to take a pic. This is a two story+ tall poster. http://kirkhmb.smugmug.com/Woodworking/Misc-Images/6241184_Bq2Vmm#!i=40 74497496&k=q9bjfLs">http://kirkhmb.smugmug.com/Woodworking/Misc- Images/6241184_Bq2Vmm#!i=4074497496&k=q9bjfLs Kinda fun to see your hobby show up at work. -- Kirk Eppler in HMB, CA, where there is a 40 foot long dead whale rolling around in the surf four miles to the south http://www.nbcbayarea.com/news/local/Dead-Gray-Whale-Washes-Up-in-Half- Moon-Bay-304310571.html">http://www.nbcbayarea.com/news/local/Dead-Gray-Whale- Washes-Up-in-Half-Moon-Bay-304310571.html |

Cool poster The old tools at work part, then pharmacy?? Reminded me,........ I have 2 of Milts pill counting spatulas. 60 years a druggist. He started when there were no classes in pharmacy at all. He started his career sweeping the floor inside the great Stadtler hotel. Little by little the old druggists brought him in. There was a lot more work in the those days. Compounding prescriptions according to the doctors recipe. Custom orders. But still and always, mostly about counting pills from big bottles into little bottles. And not making mistakes that can kill people with the wrong pills or dosage! The druggists counting spatula is his main hand tool in life. Nothing else comes close for more daily use. They still use them anywhere drugs (the legal prescription variety) are sold. Guys find them sometimes, and then a big discussion over what they are, usually ensues. They wouldn't mean anything to anyone else I'm sure. But they are dear to me. Reminds me of my old friend. yours Scott -- ******************************* Scott Grandstaff Box 409 Happy Camp, Ca 96039 scottg@s... http://www.snowcrest.n et/kitty/sgrandstaff/ http://www.snowcr est.net/kitty/hpages/index.html ----- No virus found in this message.
