Yes and no... the neatsfoot is an animal oil, but according to wikipedia 
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wi
ki/Neatsfoot_oil) the "compound" refers to
neatsfoot with additives, which may include mineral oils. So there you 
go, I didn't know that!
