254211 Bill Webber <ol2lrus@v...> 2015‑04‑02 Re: Spring 2015 Brown Tool Auction Dealer Sale
Well, the money exchanged at this event was far less than you are
imagining. Most money left our account last fall with the acquisition
of the tool chest. As with Mrs. Z, MLW spent most of the show time
patiently guarding the hotel corridors. Fortunately for me, she
supports my pursuits, generally.

I'm disappointed in the lack galooterati enthusiasm for my new/old tool
chest. Here are a couple more pics.

keeping in balance equilibrium in the world of the efficient "old tool dollar
economy". My youngest daughter, as typical, was with me. Not typical, was the
Mrs. Tony Z, sitting in the corridor leading to the restrooms, asking "What so-
called treasures did you have to buy today?", as I walked out to leave. "Not
much, didn't really need anything", I replied. "Good" she said, "you have
enough and you're learning that you do".

forays. Oh, and buy the way, I did have a "minty" steel Stanley block plane
hidden in my jacket pocket (for the new grandsons), as well as a tiny anvil. My
daughter remained quiet, giving me a knowing look behind her mother's back.
