254205 Bill Webber <ol2lrus@v...> 2015‑04‑02 Re: Spring 2015 Brown Tool Auction Dealer Sale
Hi Ed,

Generally, yes. But lots of 'eras'. The planes in the boxed set are
relatively new; made over the last 10 to 15 years. The tools in the
"planemakers tools", some are obviously relatively new, and others are
older, like Buck Bros, Sorby, Marples, and Barton. The tools in the
chest are too numerous to list but, for example, some of the saws are
Disston, Disston and Son, and Disston and Sons. So the date range is
quite large.

Regards,

Bill W.

actually. Anyway, last fall, at the dealer show in Camp Hill, I got hooked up
with a dealer who had a tool chest, yadda, yadda... To make a long story short,
as they say, I went to visit, liked what I saw, and made the purchase. At the
show last week I added a few more nice things; a set of planes in a box and the
deceased planemakers tools. I have been having trouble with my camera phone. I
don't know why some of the pics came out in black and white. Oh well, enjoy.
