The light source on the photo was natural light from a window. Nothing fancy.

The two rasps are a Nicholson cabinetmakers rasp and a cheap rasp from Harbor
Freight. I bought the latter when I realized that the teeth were in an irregular
pattern and that it was coarser than my Nicholson. The two big gouges were
recently disgorged from my Box O' Unsharpened Chisels and fettled. I've had the
gooseneck scraper for some time but it has come into its own on the spoons.
