Tom, very nice work!  That is some very pretty maple, and I also 2nd the kudos
on the photo (what kind of light source?).  How about a picture of the tools
used on the spoon?

I'm envious of those back east, with great tool meets.  We don't seem to get
them in Chicago with any regularity.  Nice haul.  I like the 1903 inside-outside
ruled caliper, interested in who made it, what the target market was.  Certainly
different!

I was out in the shop briefly today, the air pump for the fish pond crapped out
(again).  It uses stiff rubber diaphrams, and they split about every 6-9 months.
I usually keep spares on-hand, but could not locate them, but Amazon obliged for
$9 a pair.  I need to find bedrock as well, every horizontal surface is a foot
deep in "stuff".  Can't wait til it warms a bit more.
