Many thanks to those who quickly supplied the name of House Handles which
presents me with a bewildering selection.  While I did not find a description or
profile of a handle for a Hudson Bay axe head , I think that by measuring the
eye (and weighing the head?) I should be able to figure out the right handle to
order.  I'll probably pick up a hammer handle or two, as well as a sledge hammer
handle.  This is a great company;  It would be neat to see the handle lathes in
action.
