My Optivisor is also 2X / 10in. For saw-filing, I don't use it
continuously, just flip it down to check or verify. I have made a to-do
of building a riser for my saw vise which would allow me to use the
Optivisor continuously, but it's hardly necessary, and may never climb
to the top of my list.
