I have a Magni-Focuser #104, which looks like it is similar to the
Optivisor.  Plate #104 has 2x magnification and they say a working distance
of 10".  I'm not sure how the 10" is measured.  To bring items in focus, I
have to get the lens closer than 10" to the work.  Maybe 10" is from my
eye?  It's so close that I don't really feel like I have room to move the
file back and forth while sharpening.

I must be missing something here.  What magnification do you guys use for
saw sharpening?
