That is the Duby & Shinn 1902 Patent Carpenters square that I mentioned.

They were  made in 6", 10", and 13" sizes and were sold through ads 
in Popular Mechanics and other magazines.  They aren't very common, 
I've had 3 that I can recall over the years.
