OK Happy Holidays first off. Its Bigfoot days in Camp.
Actual Bigfoot days.
It was entirely wonderful, if you like that kind of thing.
Old friends and neighbors and practically anybody you talk to, you are
glad you did.
Just about nobody you didn't want to talk to either.

I soaked up some hugs, boys and girls. And I needed them... bad.
You know, when the Godfather says......one day I am going to need a
favor".............
So I just kind of went around and "collected". I got to hold many
many women that I love.

Anyway, I finished a trinket inbetween excursions to the party grounds.
So, the general surgeon who recently changed my life?
Carved a hideous alien off my face?
Took all the cancer off, and left perfectly clean margins all around?
Then sewed the skin graft like the most gifted plastic surgeon on the
planet?
Yeah him
He thought he did it all for nothing.
Or almost the same as nothing (poverty insurance).
He was wrong. He doesn't know it yet, but he was wrong.
This is a surgeons #12 blade shape. They use different blades, and a
12 is pretty damn big. There are plenty bigger, but an 8 or 10 is the
most commonly used.
Stainless, brass, ebony.
Its not quite finished. I still have to cut 3 fairly deep grooves
right across it, on each side. Near the first rivet, for grip.
I'd rather have Peter McBride's hand on the file while I do it. :)
But mine all I have handy.
Figured,........ I might as well take a picture while its still safe,
...... right?
"Steve the Knife" is going to love it whether the grooves are perfect or
not. He won't have any idea they could have been --more-- perfect,
right ? :)
