Below is a link to a picture I captured from Peter Follansbee's blog (this is

something referred to as an "Italian style shaving horse". I think the origin of
the name is from Bill Coperthwaite who mentions it in his book "A Handmade Life"
but provides no picture. Coperthwaite calls it a "panko di seggellaio" but that
is either not Italian or is dialect. I haven't found an online translator that
can handle it.

This design intrigues me and I think I need to make one. Before doing so, I thot
I should ask: Have you a) made one, b) used one, c) know the origin of the
design, or d) have plans for one?
