I wish Paul Sellers had the confidence to simply
provide woodworking instruction without feeling
the need to (strongly) contrast his technique with those of
an unnamed "them" who have done all sorts of evil things.

He seems to be evangelising against some
kind of strawman opposition, and it's not helpful.
