GGs: I have been cleaning up some saws and came across some with some interesting logos. I don't know if they are rare, or valuable so any info along these lines will be appreciated. DISSTON TOWN AND COUNTRY Wheat handle (apple) has a little town etched on upper right and a barn etched on the lower left. KEYSTONE K-4 AIR MASTER Wheat handle (apple) has a B-29 (? not great identifying WW2 aircraft). KEYSTONE K-4 AIR MASTER Wheat handle (dark) has a Bi-Plane logo. KEYSTONE K-6 CHALLENGER Wheat handle (apple) has a Boat logo. ARISTOCRAT SUPPLEE-BIDDLE HARDWARE CO. PHILADELPHIA CAST STEEL WARRANTED PATENT GROUND Any and all information will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Larry Larry Russo |

--The K-4 (as with K-1 to K-6 1/2) were available 1935-1948. --Supplee-Biddle Hardware Co was(is?) a Philadelphia Hardware Co and successor to Biddle Hardware Co, probably operating after 1930. Likely sold handsaws by other Philadelphia Sawmakers. --Disston Town & Country was a 1990 "Disston" handsaw made in Danville, VA--Model #T-1 ----ErvSaws |
