> The other day, the basket from my electric coffee percolator went missing
Oh John no!
A fork is just a tiny touch of elegance lost.
But your coffee pot is a 5 alarm emergency!
What do you use?
I use a classic West Bend stainless pot. I totally recommend them.
Makes coffee in 3 minutes flat and the important part is, it holds it
hot and sweet much longer than any drip pot I ever had.

Also apparently this is the first time I am sharing my kitchen on the
porch. I had to upload the image.
A junk hoarders kitchen. 1800's fruit jars in the window and 1800's
glass dishes in homemade glass front cabinets.......... more old junk
you can't see as well.
Might look like regular junk at first glance,
but each little piece if it is the pick of thousands of others I
either had, or could have had, that didn't measure up.
Never nervously spotless. Never dangerously messy either. haahaah

I keep a backup on the closet shelf, heaven forbid. (turn around 3 times
and spit)
