Checks and money orders are still welcome.

And remember........da more ya buy, the cheaper they fly!

First contact (that is e-mail, or phone) that says I want it gets it.
Prices do not include shipping.  All items are shipped with Delivery

is optional. Just let me know. Also, I am shipping a lot more stuff via
First Class mail. There will be a small amount added to the shipping
cover the cost of the padded mailer. I don't get them for free.

Voight 1902 Patent Double Claw Hammer Head.  This weighs 1 lb 6 1/2 oz
unboxed.  George F. Voight of San Francisco, CA was granted Pat. No.
712,983 on Nov. 4, 1902 for the design of this tool.  The mark is
partial and faint.  This is in reasonably good condition and was
cleaned.  The body has some dings and stains, but overall nothing too
bad.  There are some scuff marks on the top of the eye from a rehandle
job, now long gone.  The face has some dings and a whisker of
mushrooming.  The upper claws have some light chipping on the ends and
the lower ones have a little wear, but the insides are good on both.
The 2 head pieces do not come apart, which is why this guy is still
intact.  The eyes are good.  This ain't minty, but these guys are sure
getting few and far between of late.  $125.00

Colton Patent 1885 Work Bench Vise.  The body is 7 5/16" high, the jaws
are 2 1/4" wide and this weighs 7 lbs 8 1/2 oz unboxed.  George A.
Colton of Syracuse, NY was granted Pat. No. 320,224 on June 16, 1885 for
the design of this tool.  These were made by several different
companies, but this one does not have a maker's mark that I can see.
This is in decent condition and was cleaned.  The finish on the body is
original, but it's worn and there are some areas of light patina and
some bits of paint.  The jaws have some chipping and dings on the tops,
but the faces are fairly good.  The corners of the anvil are chipped off
and the horn is MIA.  The main screw is good and travels the full
distance. That was oiled.  The locking screw for the bench top is
missing the cap, but it also travels the full distance and holds.  This
ain't minty, but then 120 year old tools rarely are, and these guys sure
are getting hard to come by. $80.00

J Stevens A & T Fay Pat Apld For 3 Inch Divider.  Measuring 3 1/2" long
(from the tips to the top of the spring) and this weighs 1 oz unboxed.
Charles P. Fay of Chicopee Falls, MA was granted Pat. No. 591,348 on
Oct. 5, 1897, which he applied for on April 6, 1897, and since this one
is marked Pat Apl'd For, well that gives one a pretty good idea of the
age of this tool.  The  J. Stevens Arms & Tool Co. was a Chicopee Falls,
MA toolmaker who was in business from 1864 until 1903 when they were
acquired by Starrett. This is in decent condition and was cleaned.
There is some overall frosting and light patina on the legs, and a
nicely marked user name on one side.  The joint has a little funky on
the inside, but the spring is good.  The tips are bent a little.  The
quick set nut works and the screw threads were oiled.  This ain't minty,
but this a very uncommon tool to say the least.  $27.00

H Disston & Sons No 1 12 Inch Metric & English Try Square . The front is
ruled metric, the back English, and this weighs 13 1/2 oz unboxed.  This
is in decent condition.  A some point somebody powerwashed the blade and
I took off about 20 years of rust on top of that.  The blade has some
scuffing on both sides and a few dots of pitting.  The metric rulings
are faint and not very readable for the most part.  The English rulings
are readable and there also some noticeable scratches on that side.  The
edges have a few tiny dings, but are good for the most part and the
corners are good as well. The handle also has some dings and a few bits
of paint down in the grain.  This ain't minty, and it sure ain't got
that kind of price tags, but these guys are sure few and very far
between.  $30.00

Early Hand Forged Adze Head.  Measuring 7 7/8" long, the edge is 2
11/16" wide, and this weighs 1 lb 7 oz unboxed.  This is signed with a
touchmark and something stamped below it, but it's nothing that I can
read.  This looks to be an early cooper's adze.  This is in decent
condition and was cleaned.  There is some overall pitting and patina.
The blade area has pitting on both sides, but the edge is beveled on
both sides, so that won't be a problem.  The edge has some dings and
will need some work.  The hammer face also has some dings and a little
bit of mushrooming.  The eye is good with no cracks that I can see.  I
did run a file over some dings on the inside at the top, that ain't
perfect, but it's better than it was. This ain't minty, but then tools
of this age rarely are.  $30.00

Early Unplated Beech Wood Bitstock Or Hand Drill TO RESTORE. Measuring
14 3/8" long, the sweep is 7 1/8", and this weighs 1 lb 4 3/4 oz
unboxed.  Not signed as to the maker.  Unplated, means that this does
not have the brass side reinforcements.  This is in AS FOUND condition
and was not cleaned.  Overall the body is fairly good, some dings and
stains, but it's solid with no checks or repaired areas.  The chuck has
some rusting to the steel liner, but the tab and spring are good, and
the button works.  The pad looks to be Lignum Vitae and does have some
checks.  That also has an old repair using a big wood screw.  The pad
turns, a little slowly in spots, but it does work.  This is what it is,
but these guys are sure getting few and far between of late.  $40.00

Vintage Cast Brass Or Bronze Duck Bill Pliers.  Measuring 8" long, the
jaws are 2 3/8" deep, 1/2" wide at the tips, and this weighs 7 1/4 oz
unboxed.  Not signed as to the maker.  This is in good condition and was
not cleaned.  They were never finished off real pretty to start with.
The jaws close down to 1/8" and not quite flush looking from the top.
The joint and spring are good.  This is what it is, but it is a neat
tool and one that does not show up very often.  $18.00

Buck Bros Scraper Plane Blade Burnisher.  The blade is 3 13/16" long,
5/16" wide, 1/4" thick, this is 8 3/8" overall, and this weighs 2 1/2 oz
unboxed.  The blade mark is faint.  This is in reasonably good condition
and was cleaned.  The blade has some frosted and stained spots, but
nothing too bad.  The edges are good.  The handle is original and also
has some staining, but it's solid.  This ain't perfect, but these guys
sure have been few and far between of late.  $22.00

Small Hand Forged From A File Draw Knife Or Drawknife.  Measuring 9"
overall, the blade is 5 5/8" long, 5/8" wide at the one end, 9/16" at
the other, and this weighs 8 3/4 oz unboxed.  Not signed as to the
maker.  This is in reasonably good condition and was cleaned. The back
has some frosting and a couple of spots of light pitting, but overall
nothing too bad.  The front has more of the same.  The oak handles have
some dings, stains, and a few bits of paint down in the grain.  The left
one wiggles a touch, but the tangs are peened over on the ends, so they
won't come off.  This ain't got a fancy name, but it is a working and
collectible tool, and these small ones sure do not show up very often.

Vintage Chair Makers Spoke Pointer For A Brace.  The bell is 2 1/4" in
diameter, the blade is a hair under 1 3/4" high,  and this weighs 9 3/4
oz unboxed.  Not signed as to the maker.  This is in reasonably good
condition and was cleaned.  The bell has some roughness in front of the
mouth, but it looks like that was left over from when this was made.
The rest is good save for a little frosting.  The inside of the bell has
some rust staining.  The blade has some light frosting and pitting, but
there is plenty there to work with.  The screw and tang are good.  This
ain't pristine, but it's a solid tool that will get the job done.  $28.00

Measuring 9 1/4" overall, the blade is 1 1/2" long, 1/4" wide across the
edge, and this weighs 1 1/4 oz unboxed.  J Gleave & Son Manchester were
long time plane and tool makers and are still in business as hardware
dealers.  This is in good condition and was not cleaned.  The body has a
few stains, but has almost all the original finish.  The blade is clean
save for a couple of stains, and does remove and holds.  The edge is
good.  I gotta say that these small ones are sure getting hard to find
in this kind of of shape.  $24.00

Stanley V-Logo No 51 Spokeshave Or Spoke Shave.  This weighs 11 oz
unboxed.  The V-Logo was used on Stanley tools that were made between
1910 and 1920.  This is in good condition and was cleaned. the japanning
is original and is 90% plus.  The sole and mouth are good.  The cap is
also good.  The V-Logo blade has a little staining, but nothing too
bad.  The edge is slightly convex, but this will need a sharpening
anyways.  This ain't pristine, but considering the age of the tool, it
sure ain't bad, and it will get the job done.  $30.00

Hjorth Patent 1903 7 Inch Combined Pipe & Nut Wrench.  Measuring 7" long
and this weighs 6 1/2 oz unboxed.  Arthur W. Hjorth of Jamestown, NY was
granted Pat. No. 738,444 on Sept. 8, 1903 for the design of this tool.
This is in decent condition and was cleaned. There are some spots of
light pitting and somebody filed some notches along the top of the
head.  The jaw teeth have a little wear.  The wire cutter is cracked,
but the joint is fairly good with just a little play.  The tack claws on
the end of the one handle are also good.  This ain't pristine, but this
is not a commonly found size for this tool.  $15.00

C E Jennings 3/8 Inch Bench Gouge.  Measuring 8 1/4" from the edge to
the end of the socket, the blade is 6 3/16" long, 3/8" wide across the
inside of the sweep, this is 12 9/16" overall, and this weighs 4 1/2 oz
unboxed.  This is in reasonably good condition and was cleaned.  The
inside of the sweep is good other than some frosting and a few tiny
dots.  The back has some light roughness, but nothing too bad if you
wanted to flip the bevel.  The edge is good.  The socket is good save
for the start of some mushrooming. The handle is a replacement.  That
has some stains, but it's solid. This ain't minty, but it is a quality
tool that will get the job done.  $18.00

the edge to the end of the socket, the blade is 5 3/4" long, this is 12
5/16" overall, and this weighs 4 3/4 oz unboxed.  Pine Knot (or Knott)
was a brand name used by the Belknap Hardware & Mfg Co of Louisville
KY.  This is in decent condition and was cleaned.  The back has overall
frosting and light pitting and there are a few deeper spots.  The top
also has some noticeable patina. The socket had some mushrooming removed
(not by me).  The handle is a good replacement.  I did not have that off
of the tool.  Pretty and perfect moved out of town on this guy a while
back, but I sure ain't seen too many tools by this maker around.  $15.00

save for a few stained spots.  The edge on the skew chisel has a small
chip, and the rest could stand a touch up.  The handles have some dings
to the finish, but are solid. These ain't pristine, but they will get

partially flattened the side of the 3/4" ball, but not enough to affect

some wear.  A previous owner added some file lines on the side of the
one jaw and on the inside of the one handle.  The jaws are good and
close up flush.  The cross hatching might have been user done as well.
The through the center joint is good with no play.  The one handle is

plating is worn around the jaw opening.  The jaws and springs are good.
The ratchet works in both directions and the locked position.  There is
some wear to the plating on the end cap on the chuck.  The grip and pad

face is 13/16" in diameter, the peen is 15/16" wide, and this weighs 10
oz unboxed.  Not signed as to the maker.  This is in reasonably good
condition and was cleaned.  There is some overall light patina.  The
face has some light dings and wear as does the peen.  What the hole is

undersides (again, not by me!)  The eye looks to be good with no cracks
that I can see.  The handle is an older replacement and is good.  This
ain't minty, but then tools of this age rarely are.  $17.00
