275576 Tony Seo 2022‑05‑16 FS: May Minings 2022 Chapter 2
Second list of the goods for the month of May.  There are a number of
fresh working and collectible tools this time around.  It looks like the
weather has turned the corner here finally, save for the rain...sigh.

PayPal is preferred (if you use it) on all items. It's easier for me to

ship items off of a paid PayPal invoice, especially First Class ones.

Checks and money orders are still welcome.

And remember........da more ya buy, the cheaper they fly!

First contact (that is e-mail, or phone) that says I want it gets it.
Prices do not include shipping.  All items are shipped with Delivery
Confirmation. Insurance, unless it is a big order or a very fragile item
is optional. Just let me know. Also, I am shipping a lot more stuff via
First Class mail. There will be a small amount added to the shipping
cover the cost of the padded mailer. I don't get them for free.

Please put your name and address in the message. Saves time and email
traffic!

L S Starrett No 83 4 Inch Yankee Pattern Divider.  Measuring 4 11/16"
long (from the tips to the top of the spring) and this weighs 1 3/4 oz
unboxed.  This is in very good condition and was not cleaned.  I doubt
that it was used much.  There ain't nothing much patina wise to fuss
about.  The spring and joint are good. The tips have a little
discoloration from riding in the plastic cover, but are nice and
pointy.  The quick set nut works just dandy.  This is about as close to
minty as you will get without buying a new one.  $25.00

15/16" long and this weighs 3 1/2 oz unboxed.  This is in very good
condition and was not cleaned.  I doubt that it was used or much at
all.  There ain't nothing patina wise at all.  The spring, joint, and
tips are all good and the quick set nut works just fine.  This is a top
quality tool in the right condition.  $25.00

Vintage Small Perfect Handle Screwdriver.  Measuring 4 7/8" long, the
tip is 1/4" wide, and this weighs 1 3/4 oz unboxed.  This is in decent
condition and was cleaned.  The tip has a little chipping and some light
pitting, but was never messed with.  The shaft has some pliers marks.
The handle scales are good and are on tight.  There is a whisker of
mushrooming on the end.  This ain't minty, but these guys rarely are.

weighs 6 3/4 oz unboxed.  Not signed as to the maker.  This is in
reasonably good condition and was cleaned.  There is some pitting on the

patina.  The joint is good as well and was oiled.  I can't say exactly
what this was used for, but it will get the job done.  $24.00

Hand Forged Patent Date Stamp.  Measuring 3 5/16" long, the mark is 1
1/4" wide, the figures are 3/32" high, and this weighs 5 3/4 oz
unboxed.  Not signed as to the maker, there is what looks to be a touch
mark on the striking end.  There are 12 tool related patents that were
issued on Oct. 21, 1873, but it's probably for some thing else.  This is
in reasonably good condition and was cleaned by someone else who also
hit it with the shiny stuff.  The figures are good and clear.  The
striking end has the start of a little mushrooming, but is also good.  I
gotta say, these guys are sure hard to come by.  $25.00

edge area is pitted and there are some chips off of the side.  The eye
has some crusty on the inside and some small chips on the underside, but
it's solid.  This sure ain't pretty or perfect, but these guys sure

clear level vial is good.  There is some wear and light patina to the

partially flattened the side of the 3/4" ball, but not enough to affect
this being used.  The 5/8" ball is good.  This ain't perfect, but these
guys have been sure hard to come by of late.  $14.00

This is in reasonably good condition and was cleaned. There is a little
frosting, but overall nothing too bad.  The spring is good.  The tips
were dressed at some point and only close down to 5/16".  The nut
travels the full distance.  This ain't pristine, but it will get the job
done.  A working and collectible old layout tool for sure!  $14.00
