Happy Sunday Galoots near and far!
Well remember last month when I dropped my veteran backsaw and broke the
handle?
I took your advise and repaired it and resharpened it and I'll retire
it just to remember the lifetime of service it gave me.
Meanwhile I needed a replacement. I could have bought someone else's
saw. There are a lot of really great saws being made right now. But its
not really my style.
I had cut my thumb pretty badly and it was healing but taking its
time. So in my dimished state I gathered some lonely saw parts I had
laying around. A brass back from one old derelict saw. A handle from
another and a saw plate from a 3rd.
Whizzmo change-o I married them. haahah
It worked but it was plain as a mud fence. The handle was so beat up
I actually had to use stain :(
I had to do at least a little something............

I kind of liked this medallion. It was the best Warren and Ted I had
available.
I didn't want to use a Disston. Didn't want people confused hahaahaha

Should make a decent knock around saw.
