Not only wooden dashboards, Studebaker started making Conestoga wagons in the 1870’s - they were galoots. The twin turbo version of the ’63 Avanti was the fastest production car in the world at 171 MPH, and with suspension changes and a HP boost it did 196. I wouldn't dare go over 90 in mine.
