273714 Erik Levin 2021‑05‑16 LeRoy type Wrico Scriber
Those of a certain age may be familiar with lettering scribers (LeRoy being the
commo name and most famous make), and a few here may have one, or several, in
their stash.

I have a couple, the most versatile being a Wrico, since genuine LeRoy tend to
be priced way out of my budget for the once or twice a year I need one anymore.
At this point, I need to match lettering for several old drawings (I am
reproducing damaged parts). I have appropriate guides for the style and sizes,
but I am, unfortunately, missing the adjuster plate (setup plate, the plate with
the grid on it for positioning the scribe pin to get the correct lettering form)
and can find no good images.

If anyone has one, I would much appreciate a good,, high resolution, straight on
photo with a good rule for dimensions. It is little challenge to make the plate
with the particular settings I need, if I have the appropriate photo. If not, I
will need to do a bit more geometry than I really want to.
