I made another display piece for us too.

There has never been a fireman anywhere, at any time, who didn't 
consider taking one of the
retired, long, heavy, patina rich brass hose nozzles and making it into 
a lamp.
    Except no one ever does

I presume that the valve handle it the light switch?

That hose nozzle lamp is AWESOME. The mini fire-axe is pretty sweet, too.
