Professional grade toothing plane? Leather tool? Hand powered gang saw? Back

Finally, an ID. Nice shooting Harrison.

It appears it is the original Shinto Rasp.

Kirk Eppler, in HMB, looking for an anvil for my 1950's Dake 001 arbor
press. It allows using less force to break things, so it fits into my shop.

Great find. interesting that the blades don’t lay flat. On the ebay one they
appear to bulge out in the middle while the illustration Darren found appears to
bulge inward at the middle.

Whereas I write: The teeth (points) all lie in a plane. The blades are bent
sideways, chevron like, all the same way. It took me a minute, as well.

When I saw the USMC I knew we was shaving shoe heels one way or another!
Still not sure what this one was specifically for. But the ad says
composition and rubber and I expect those were harder to work than
regular wooden high heels.
Rubber can be pretty cranky getting it to do what you want, for sure.
Its beat me up a few times.
