Eh? I've yet to see a powered workmutt. I looked for an hour
tonight, and I can't find the on switch on mine.

Of course, it's still in one piece, too ('cept for that small rabbet
on the end made by overzealous application of an unmentionable tool
that ends in "ah").

Hi. My name's Steve, and I'm a neo-neanderthal. My interest in this
gig was piqued when I saw Patrick Leach post about the Chapin plane
company in r.ww. I asked him about it, and he responded with his
typical wealth of information, including the name of the founder
(Hermon Chapin) and his many sons. The upshot is that Uncie Hermie,
as I like to call him, is indeed a relative way back, so I'm a sucker
for collecting (and using) tools from his company in all its forms
(Union Factory, H. Chapin and Sons, H. Chapin's Sons, etc.).

I'll admit that I have a few of the unmentionables in my shop, as I
think most of us do, but I'm committed to learning to use some of
these old wonderments I've come across.

Can I get an Amen?
