Bill Brady is retired (early) from a career in computers, telemetry and 
command for sounding rockets and unmanned spacecraft. Most proud of work 
on ASTP (Apollo Soyuz Test Project) where Astronauts and Cosmonauts 
linked in space. (they gave the support team a really cool award, with a 
medallion made from metal from both the Apollo and the Soyuz). The last 
project worked was Hubble Space Telescope. Latter part of career in 
computer communications. Currently do consulting and electronic 
publishing production (photos & OCR) for a county paper.

Software author: WIZ, the OS-9 Telecommunications Program, BigT and 
others. Was assistant sysop on the GEnie network.

He has a very broad range of experience (including getting elected to 
public office - Councilman & Commissioner of Police). Started out going 
to vocational Jr and Sr High school, taking woodworking, radio, electric 
and print shop while working for room and board (evil stepmother) on a 
farm in No. Va.

USAF, aircraft electronics warfare, in '60s.

In the 70's got involved in black powder shooting, gunsmithing. Also a 
coin collector, and has done electroplating in conjunction with both.

Also spent a number of years in the darkroom, doing photography. Now use 
Kodak DC50.

Aquarist, preferring Green Discus and lots of plants.

Likes to make decorative boxes, fret work, and one of a kind items not 
normally made in wood (a walnut microscope light source with condenser, 
for example).

Kids are long grown up. Daughter is Web Master/MIS manager for OAO Corp. 
www.oao.com. Son changes jobs for a career.
