Second run of tools for the month of February.  Since it's going to snow
here today (AGAIN!!) might as well have something to do. Sigh. Got a run
of fresh goods, lots of brace tools, hammers, machinist, and the usual
ends and odds.

PayPal is preferred (if you use it) on all items. It's easier for me to
ship items off of a paid PayPal invoice, especially First Class ones.
Checks and money orders are still welcome.

And remember........da more ya buy, the cheaper they fly!

First contact (that is e-mail, or phone) that says I want it gets it.
Prices do not include shipping.  All items are shipped with Delivery
Confirmation. Insurance, unless it is a big order or a very fragile item
is optional. Just let me know. Also, I am shipping a lot more stuff via
First Class mail. There will be a small amount added to the shipping
cover the cost of the padded mailer. I don't get them for free.

Please put your name and address in the message. Saves time and email
traffic!

Vintage 1 1/4 lb Ball Peen Hammer Head.  Measuring 4 7/8" long, the face
is 1 1/4" in diameter, the peen is 1 1/8" in diameter, and this weighs 1
lb 5 1/2 oz unboxed.  Not signed as to the maker.  This is in decent
condition and was cleaned.  There is some light pitting on the sides and
some dings.  The face has some dings, wear, and a little mushrooming.
The peen is good save for some very light patina.  The eye is good to
go.  This ain't pristine but it's an older tool that will get the job
done.  $17.00

Old 6 3/4 lb Sledge Hammer Head.  Measuring 6 7/16" long, the faces are
roughly 1 3/4" in diameter, and this weighs 6 lbs 13 1/2 oz unboxed.
Not signed as to the maker.  This is in decent condition and was
cleaned.   There is some overall pitting and patina going. The faces
have some light pitting and the one has a wee bit of mushrooming on the
one side but there are no cracks that I can see. The eye has a little
crusty and a few light dings around the edges but it's solid.  This
ain't minty but it's an old dog that will get the job done.  $18.00

Wm Johnson Newark NJ 12 Inch Wing Compass Or Divider.  Measuring 12
1/16" long and this weighs 12 oz unboxed.  The Wm Johnson Company was a
long time Newark NJ tool maker.  This is in decent condition and was
cleaned.  There is some overall frosting and some spots of light pitting
on the legs.  The joint is good.  The locking screw and fine adjustment
nut both work and were oiled.  The one tip is a little shorter than the
other one but they are good to go.  This ain't minty but it will get the
job done.  $19.00

Early Hand Forged Belt Axe.  Measuring 11 5/8" overall, the head is 4
1/8" long (across the center), the edge is 3" high (straight across),
and this weighs 1 lb 4 1/2 oz unboxed.  Not signed as to the maker.
This is in fair condition and was cleaned.   There is lots of patina
going on this old guy.  The bit was replaced at some point and that is
fairly good.  The wrought iron body has some roughness.  The poll is
cracked at the top and goes into the eye and was dressed down at some
point.  The forge weld line at the front of the eye is open a bit.  The
handle is old and could be the original one.  HOWEVER somebody (not me!)
used some kind of glue to keep the handle in the eye.  Sigh.   What can
I say?  This sure ain't anywhere close to minty but it is an old and
collectible tool. $24.00

Blacksmith 2 lb Cross Peen Hammer.  Measuring 11" overall, the head is 4
3/4" long, the face is 1 1/4" in diameter, the peen is 1 3/8" wide, and
this weighs 2 lbs 4 1/2 oz unboxed.  Not signed as to the maker.  This
is in reasonably good condition and was cleaned.  The head has some
dings and light patina going.  The face is good other than some
frosting.  The peen does have a chip on the one end and I did take down
a little sharpness but other than that, the peen is good.  The handle is
a recent replacement.  There are a couple of dings at the end but it's
solid.  This ain't pristine but it will get the job done.  $19.00

Craftsman, a 5/16" Dunlap, a 3/8" Craftsman, and they weigh 4 1/2 oz
unboxed.  These are in decent condition and were cleaned.  The 1/4" has
some frosting on the head and shaft, the Dunlap is clean, and the 3/8"
has some pitting on the one side and a little along the side of the
head.  The tips all have a little wear but nothing too bad.  The tangs
are good to go.  These ain't minty but they will get the job done.  $14.00

5/16" in diameter, the handle is 4 5/8" wide, and this weighs 2 1/2 oz
unboxed.  This is marked but I can't read it.  This is in decent
condition and was cleaned.  There is some overall pitting and patina.
The lead screw threads are good but not really sharp.  The working edge
also could stand a touch-up.  The handle has some dings, stains, and a
couple thin checks around the mortise for the tang but it's solid and
the tang is in tight.  This ain't pristine but tools of this age rarely
are.  $14.00

good condition and were cleaned.   There is some pitting on the back of
the 3/16", the other two just have a little frosting.  The lips are all
good.  The edges have some light dings but feel good to the touch.  All
the tangs are good and are notched for a bitstock.  These ain't pristine
but it's sure getting hard to put these sets together.  $18.00

1/2 oz unboxed.  Not signed as to the maker.  This is in reasonably good
condition and was cleaned.  There ain't much patina to fuss about with
this guy.  The head  and edges are good.  The tang sides are good but it
does have a couple of chips starting at the end.  Just don't knock this
out of the chuck with a 10 lb sledge hammer and it will be fine.  This
ain't minty but it sure ain't bad and it will get the job done.  $14.00

areas and dings.  There is check at the end by the point but the screw
works and the point stays in position.  The rulings are readable.  The
head has some stains and dings but it's solid.  There are couple of
tight spots on the beam but the head does travel the full distance.

and was lightly cleaned.  About the only patina is a user mark on the
back.  The spring is good.  There is a 3/16" gap at the tips with the
nut all the way in but they do not look like they were messed with.  The
threads are good and the nut travels the full distance smoothly.  This
ain't minty but it is a top quality tool that will get the job done.  $26.00

Vintage Merit 10 Inch Sweep Brace.  This weighs 2 lbs 3 1/2 oz unboxed.
Merit was one of the brand names used by Sears during the 1930's and
40's.  This is in decent condition and was cleaned.  The plating on the
arms is worn and in some spots gone.  The chuck shell has a little funky
but it works just fine.  The alligator style jaws are good.  The ratchet
works in both directions and the locked position.  The grip has some
wear to the finish.  The pad looks like it was painted at some point and
there are few dots of other colors as well.  Both spin freely.  This

this weighs 9 1/2 oz unboxed.  This is in TO RESTORE condition.  I
cleaned off some paint spray and run some steel wool over the etch to
bring it out a little.  There is some overall light rust but it doesn't
look too deep.  There is a slight bent on the edge at the toe.  This
would need a sharpening.  The beech tote has some paint and staining but
it's solid.  The medallion is MIA.  This is what it is, but these guys

red paint and there is little down inside.  The pad was also painted red
and there is a little down in the hole.  That has a little play and
light patina but it's solid and spins smoothly.  This ain't fancy but it
