GGs;
  As a few of you know (now you all do), we live next door to our son and
his family. The forced home schooling due to the China virus only takes
the boys, ages 9 and 7, 2-3 hours a day. That leaves them a lot of time to
get on their mom’s nerves. A couple of days ago I started them on a hand
tools-only project. I picked up - curbside - a couple of 1x6 S1s2e cedar
boards. We’re in a rural area with lots of trees so the bird houses they’re
making will be more than just ornaments. Plans are from the North American
Bluebird Society for an Eastern Bluebird nestbox. They’re using a handsaw,
carpenter’s square, eggbeater, brace & bits, hammer, nails and glue.
  Oh, and I have an easel off to the side where their 4 year old sister
draws and paints.
