Most of us are dumb some of the time. Some are dumb all of the time...

I suspect the same thing happens on the Bay as happens at live auctions, or on
trips to the mall or car dealer for that matter.  People neglect to set
themselves a limit, get excited about something, and act on the notion that he
who hesitates is lost. Sober second thought doesn't enter into their process.

I always marvel at the prices people pay for used Lie Nielsen tools. I’ve seen a
number of them sell for more than the price of a new item readily available from
Lie Nielsen. I’m not referring to collectibles or items no longer manufactured.
Are people that dumb? I don’t get it.
