About the same. Setup is a little more difficult. I have not used it enough yet
to know if it keeps set. Took a bit more time and effort to flatten the sole
compared to the Stanley's. But not too much. The frog and the base matted well
and the iron bedded well to the frog.
Seems to me the frog adjustment is over rated. Some of my other planes lack them
and I do not miss them much.
With limited use absolutely no chatter.
Over all it is comparable to my Stanley.
