Longtime list member but only a lurker for the last few years ...
missing the annual Galootaclaus festivities so jumped back in the game
this year.

Last check-in was just shy of turning 50, and now on the downhill side
of the slide to 60.  Still have my little cave full of rusty wonders
but it is mostly relegated to hoarding things to fix other things.
Have a fondness for turning and carving ... both on a small scale and
the fascination with marking and measuring implements never quite goes
away.

Half of the 8 kids have crossed over to adulthood with the oldest
working in China and the next three in college .. I do still have a
3rd grader bringing up the end of the train .... once upon the time
the little ones where quite the little shop rats.  Those days seem to
have passed .. oh well.

Not likely to come out of lurk mode much, do still do enjoy the
ramblings and musings of fellow porch folk.
