My GC gift has been surrendered into the indifferent hands of Canada Post.
We are currently in the midst of a postal labour dispute, and whilst the rolling
random strikes are over for now, there is a massive backlog of mail to
be attended to.

So I notified my (hopefully) tolerant and patient recipient and said
"the gift is in the mail" and warned him that it may be late despite my
best efforts to post it early.

The Galootaclaus Season is upon us!
