I feel this is like asking where to find unicorns Is there a source for these X shaped bits besides finding used ones, usually in a drill. Or NOS that has been dug up. |

Bob asked: >Is there a source for these X shaped bits besides finding used ones, usually in a drill. Or NOS that has been dug up. Never seen any in the wild, but I have converted a few yankee style. Not a task for hand tools, but not a difficult job on a lathe or mill with a little prep, should you have the need. I used a toolpost grinder and an indexing disk in the lathe. I doubt I'll do it again. *** This message was sent from a convenience email service, and the reply address(es) may not match the originating address |
