I'll let you know if you got something or if it is already gone.

If you prefer to look at it with the pictures expanded and in line you can
check out:

Standard old tool terms. I'll send you a total once I ship and you can pay
me after they get there and are to your satisfaction.

T2 - Ward 2 3/8 inch Tapered Solid Plane Iron - $3

Mark appears to be WARD. It is a tapered iron. 2 3/8 inches wide and about
6 1/4 inches long. Some light mushrooming at the top. No hole for a cap
iron. If you want to make a wooden plane this would be a good iron for it.

T6 - Stanley Sweetheart No. 151M Spokeshave - $10

Blade has the Sweetheart mark on it. Back is marked 151 M which makes it
the malleable iron version of the No. 151. Supposedly can withstand more
damage than the normal cast iron. In good shape. Some paint or gunk near
cutting edge of blade to clean off.

Marked Stanley on the top, No. 85 on the mouth part and PATD 2-19-01 on the
back. Blade has a date on it. Has a hang hole. As is the case with about
85% of these I see one of the forks that guess under the securing screw on
the bottom is broken about 1/2 way off. Still works fine. Blade is 2 1/2
inches wide. A tight check at the end of one handle.

T9 - Boxwood & Ivory Stanley Rules - Philip Stanley - $20

Title page is signed by author with inscription to Walter Smith in 1985. A
great reference book on rulers. Used to be a $100 book, but not anymore.
The cover reads Boxwood & Ivory Stanley Traditional Rules, 1855-1975 Philip
E. Stanley. It is 188 pages and is a hardcover with the dust jacket. This
book is now out of print. A great book chock full of info and research by
Philip Stanley. It contains detailed analysis of the design and function of
every rule ever produced by the Stanley Rule & Level Company. The book goes
much further to include commentary on relative scarcity and value.
Additional chapters detail the rule manufacturing process, the principal
competitors of Stanley in the last half of the Nineteenth Century, and
reviews some of the specialized patented rule modifications that command
great collector interest. The superb photographs illustrate the many
features of the Stanley rule line. A book not to be without.

T10 - Pair of Starrett 12 inch Adjustable Squares - $15

Both are pretty rusty and I think even if you clean them you are going to
lose the ability to see some of the graduations. Everything moves and is
not frozen and the bubbles are good, but will need some serious cleaning.
Each rule has a form of the Starrett mark on them, 1 head is also marked
Starrett, if you clean the other head you may find it. Probably not up to
metal working standards, but should clean to be good enough for woodworking
and general shop use. One rule is graduated in 1/8 and 1/16th on both sides
(which I really like for woodworking). The other is 1/8, 1/16, 1/32 and
1/64.

T11 - Bleckman Early Clock Makers Screw Plate - $10

Appears to be early and looks complete. Marked in an arch BLECKMAN over JCA
(does not appear to say USA). Front of main body marked 1 through 5 as are
the die bits, back is marked 36 and the die bits are as well. Clean
overall with some pitting at one end. Screw turns fine and the bits slide
and can be removed. About 5 1/2 inches long.

T13 - Arrow Automatic Staple Gun Tacker Kit In Original Box with Acc. 1950s
- $10

Comes in the original box. I see not dates on the box or instructions.
None of the addresses have a zip code which probably means prior to 1963
(says Brooklyn 12, NY). Has a 1950s feel to me. Comes with the Heavy
stapler with a sticker on it saying Extra Heavy Spring for Tough Stapling
Jobs. Comes with 3 extra noses, for screens, wires, and shades as well as
the standard one that is on it. Comes with 2 boxes for the noses and some
extra boxes of staples and some brads. Comes with a Staple remover marked
with Arrow info.

T14 - Union No. 4 Smooth Plane - $15

Union was an early competitor to Stanley. Appears complete and correct.
Tote and knob are good, appear to be East Indian Mahogany or some other than
rosewood species that some of Stanley's competition used. Lever cap is
marked Union, has the twisted lateral lever, and blade is Union Mfg. Co. New
Britain CT USA. Almost all the japanning is in place and it is damage free.

T15 - Morse Twist Drill Index and Reamer Index and Centre Drills and
Countersinks - $20

You get 2 wooden indexes and some centre drills and countersinks. All are
marked with the Morse name. The indexes are wood and marked on top Morse
Twist Drill & Machine Co. Morses Patent Twist Drills New Bedford Mass. The
one that has what I think are reamers in it has markings from 1 to 60, the
smallest ones from 51 to 60 are missing and 1 hole has a drill in it. The
drill index has a bit in each hole, I see one broken one. A couple of the
tools in each one have some rust blooms at the end. They are each about 7
by 5 inches. Some checking on the wood. Also included is a match box size
container of Combination Centre Drills and Countersinks from Morse.

T16 - Adjustable Hollow Auger - $20

A little dirty and I do not see any markings on it, but I think these were
made by E. C. Stearns. Is complete and has the depth stop. All the screws
turn and moves as expected. This is the style that is infinitely adjustable
within the range. Graduations on the side go from 1/4 up to 1 1/4.
Finishes are all pretty good.

T17 - Commander Style Smaller Mallet - Iron Bound Faces - Professional
Whack-a-Mole - $20

Handle is about 12 inches long and iron bound faces are a little over 3
inches across. If it was much larger I would say it was a commander mallet.
I have not seen one this robust in this size. Weighs in at about 2 3/4
pounds. Faces show evidence of use. My kids wanted to keep it to play
Whack-a-Mole, my wife thought better of it with visions of an ER trip. If
you really need to whack something, moles or otherwise this is your tool.
Head and handle appear to be oak.

T21 - Samson Pat. Aug 16 1892 Nail Puller - $20

One side is marked SAMSON and the other is PAT. AUG. 16 92. Corresponds to
US Patent: 480,974 granted to Christopher M. Spencer - Windsor, CT on August
16, 1892. No damage, just some rust on the exposed metal parts. Everything
moves freely. These seem to sell, not really sure if they are still being
used in some demolition capacity or there are more nail puller collectors in
the world than I would have thought. An interesting mechanical tool that is
about 17 inches long when closed up.
