Hey galoots

Not much happening on the list for a while now, so I thought I might spark it
up.

Middle daughter with 2 kids visited over the weekend and the first thing
(literally) 4 year old Truman asked after a 4 hour car ride was if we could work
in the shop, and said he wanted to make a motorcycle. Yow - a pretty tall
order. I asked him to draw what it should look like, and it took him about 30
seconds to come up with the drawing below.

I was a little mystified because he said he understood that a motorcycle had 2
wheels, so why 4? On the front are the handlebars, in the center is the seat,
and at the back are the pedals. Not sure what to do, I made the wheels and then
the hot-dog shaped body. Truman talked me through the rest, the handlebars, the
seat and the pedals, then I realized that his drawing is from the top and laid
open so you see both the right and left sides at the same time??

Pretty cool He got to cut and drill and hammer and glue and he really enjoyed
himself. He especially liked peening the 16d nail axles to make rivets out of
them.
