In galoot time, I guess I might be a little early; but in real time I
apologize for being so slow to return thanks to all for their sage
advice on these subjects.
I decided to leave the guitar frets until I could visit a pro to see if
the action on the Yamaha can be improved.
I did sharpen the scissors. They cut better, anyway; but I don't know
that they are properly sharp, yet. I found a copy of Scissors Sam Says
be Sharp at abebooks.com for a not totally exorbitant price. I expect
to see it arrive in the mail next week. With it in hand, I might have
another go at the scissors.
In any case, thanks to all who responded to my queries. The information
served to prevent me making things worse. (I know that never happens to
any of you :) )
