263378 Anthony Seo 2017‑09‑25 FS: Simmering September 2017 List B
What with 85F temps, it sure don't feel like the end of September but
I'll take that over having to run the oil eating beast in the basement.
Lots of fresh goodies in here so go for the gold.

PayPal is now accepted and preferred (if you use it) on all items. On
items less than $25 (not including shipping) I would appreciate you
using the Send Money to Family & Friends option so I don't get killed
with the fees but that is your call. Checks and money orders are still
welcome, it just seems that 1st Class letters seem to be taking forever
to get from there to here.

And remember........da more ya buy, the cheaper they fly!

First contact (that is e-mail, or phone) that says I want it gets it.
Oldtools terms, except on items and orders over $100, if I don't know ya
or haven't done business in the past (and my records good way back..)
then it's pre-pay. I do take PayPal (except as noted). Prices do not
include shipping. All items are shipped with Delivery Confirmation.
Insurance, unless it is a big order or a very fragile item is optional.
Just let me know. Also, I am shipping a lot more stuff via First Class
mail. There will be a small amount added to the shipping cover the cost
of the padded mailer. I don't get them for free.

Railroad Track Anvil. Measuring 10 1/2" long, 2 3/8" high, and this
weighs 4 lbs 14 1/2 oz unboxed. Not signed as to the maker. This is
in good condition, it was cleaned by someone else who also gave it a
shot of the shiny stuff. The top was dressed, there is a little
roughness but nothing too bad. The base is good and level. This ain't
fancy but this is a handy size. $32.00

Noble Mfg Watrous Pat 9 Inch Draw Knife Or Drawknife. Measuring 16 1/8"
overall, the blade is 8 3/4" long, 1" wide across the edge, and this
weighs 1 lb 4 1/2 oz unboxed. Richard N. Watrous of Charlestown, OH was
granted Pat. No. 18,877 on Dec. 15, 1857 for the design of this tool
which was made by the Nobles Mfg. Co. of Elmira, NY. The mark is faint.
This is in decent condition for the and use. It had been cleaned
previously and I did some detailing on it. There is some frosting and
light pitting on both sides of the blade but nothing too bad there. The
edge will need a sharpening but there are no dings or nicks. Both
handles have some stains and dings but both are solid. The ferrule on
the left one has a couple of thin checks. The teeth on the handles and
the blade are worn but these does tighten down. Both nuts work and were
oiled. This ain't pristine but these guys rarely are. This will be
shipped in "kit" form. $35.00

and was cleaned. The japanning is original and about 90%. There is
some crusty down in the crannies and nooks. The depth adjuster screw
was oiled and the screw the frog adjuster tab was oiled as well. This
comes with the bed screws and the frog adjuster screw. They also have a
little patina left. This ain't perfect but it will do the job. $30.00

Winchester Plane Lever Cap. Measuring 2 3/8" wide and this weighs 6
unboxed. This came off of a W4 1/2 plane, but it will fit the W5 1/2,
W6, and W7 planes as well. This is in reasonably good condition and was
cleaned. There is some light frosting on the body and a little more on
the lever. The edge is good with no cracks. The paint is a little worn
but some of it is there. This ain't minty but it sure ain't bad and
these guys do not show up very often. $30.00

Buck Bros 1 1/2 Inch Tanged Paring Chisel. Measuring 6 11/16" from the
edge to the top of the handle, the blade is 4 15/16" long, this is 13
1/4 overall, and this weighs 9 1/2 oz unboxed. The blade mark is faint
(wasn't struck too deep) but there is enough there to make the call.
This is used but good condition and was cleaned. The back has some very
light frosting but nothing too bad. The front has more of the same.
The edge will need a sharpening but not much of one. The handle is the
original one and is signed. That is good other than small chip off of
the side. The finish is original plus a coat of wax. The ferrule
finish is a little funky but it's solid. This ain't minty but it sure
ain't bad either. $25.00

Two Bevel Edge Socket Firmer Chisels To Restore. The upper one is 1/4"
wide, 8 1/2" from the edge to the end of the socket, the blade is 6"
long, the lower one is 1 3/4" wide, 9 1/4" from the edge to the end of
the socket, the blade is 5 7/16" long, and they weigh 15 1/2 oz unboxed.
Not signed as to the maker. These are in decent condition but need
work and were cleaned. Note these are straight, any bending you see is
because of camera lens distortion. The back of the 1/4" has some light
pitting overall. The 1 3/4" has some deep pitting right at the edge
and a few other lighter spots down the blade along with some overall
frosting. Both fronts have noticeable patina as well. The socket on
the 1/4" is good, the socket on the 1 3/4" has some pitting and I did
clean a little mushrooming off the outside and inside. They both will
need handles. These ain't no picture of perfection but with some work
they will be good users and that 1 3/4" size sure don't show up every
day. $32.00

Vintage Solid Brass Double Cavity .30 Roundball Bullet Mold. Measuring
4 1/4" long, the cavities are .30 across, and this weighs 3 oz unboxed.
Not signed as to the maker. This is in decent condition and was
cleaned. There is some light patina on the body including some scuffs
from a previous cleaning. Both pairs of cavities are good, there is a
whisker of daylight showing through when they are closed. This guy
never had a sprue cutter. This ain't the prettiest but it does have
some age to it. $30.00

Two Blades For A Stanley 71 Or 71 1/2 Router Plane. The upper one is a
hair over 1/4" across the edge, the lower one is 1/2" wide across the
edge, and they weigh 3 oz unboxed. Not signed as to the maker, but we
all know who made 'em. These are in used but reasonably good condition
and were cleaned. There ain't much to fuss about with the shafts. The
blades were sharpened recently and are good to go. They ain't minty but
these guys sure ain't getting any easier to find in the wild. $45

G I Mix No 1 EX 3/4 Inch Wheelwrights Corner Chisel. Measuring 11 3/4"
from the edge to the end of the socket, the blade is 8 1/2" long, this
is 16 1/4" overall (as pictured), and this weighs 15 oz unboxed. G. I.
Mix was a CT edge tool maker in business during the last quarter of the
19th Century. This is in reasonably good condition and was cleaned.
There is are a few spots of pitting up by the edge, after that there
just is some frosting and a few dots. The edge is a little uneven but
pretty close to being sharp. The inside of the blade was never finished
off real pretty like to start with. The socket is good and was never
struck. The handle looks to be the original one. That is good other
than a few stains and a little fuzzy at the striking end. I did have it
off of the tool and didn't seat it back tight because it will make
shipping easier and less expensive. Mix is well known for the quality
of their framing tools and slicks and this one shows it. Needless to
say, these do not show up very often in this kind of shape. $60.00

Stanley SW No 65 Chamfer Spoke Shave Or Spokeshave. This weighs 12 oz
unboxed. This is in good condition and was lightly cleaned. The sole
and the faces of the wings are good other than the factory machining
marks. The japanning is original, 99% on the body, there are a some
chips on the edges of the wings. The cap is good. The SW blade has
some light patina on the exposed area but the cutting face is clean and
this looks to be close to, if not, the original length. The blade will
need a sharpening. All the screws work and were oiled. This ain't 100%
minty but all things being equal in a hand grenade tossing contest, well
it sure ain't bad. $80.00

Gillett Bristol England 8/8 Side Bead Molding Plane. This weighs 1 lb 4
1/4 oz unboxed. The Gillett family made planes and other tools in
Bristol England from 1801 until 1859. This is in good condition, the
body was cleaned by someone else, I just prettied up the iron a little.
Note this is straight, any bending you see is because of camera lens
distortion. The body is good other than a small chip off of the top of
the toe, a couple of thin checks at the heel, some tiny dings on the
body, and the usual hammer dings on the heel. There is a user name
proudly stamped at both ends. The sole and boxing are good and the
mouth is tight and was never messed with. The wedge is good with no
cracks. The cutting face of the iron has some staining but nothing
serious patina wise. That will need a sharpening. These big side beads
do no show up very often and rarely in this kind of shape. $30.00
http://oldetoolshop.com/forsale/sept/woodenplane0901.jpg

Vintage Dunlap 10 Inch Draw Knife Or Drawknife. Measuring 15 3/4"
overall, the blade is 9 15/16" long, 1 7/16" wide across the edge, and
this weighs 1 lb 2 3/4 oz unboxed. Dunlap was one of the brand names
used by Sears on their tools. This is in decent condition overall and
was cleaned. The back of the blade is frosted overall and there are a
few tiny deeper dots. The edge is good other than a few very small
dings. There is some dinging on the top of the blade and I cleaned some
mushrooming off both sides. The front of the blade also has some
frosting and light patina. Both handles have some dings and stains but
they have most of the original finish. They are both on tight. The
ferrules and end caps also have some frosting going. This ain't minty
but I sure haven't been seeing too many of these bigger ones around that
are. $40.00

Two Small Brass Trammel Points. The bodies are 1 7/16" high (excluding
the screw, the beam opening is 1/2" high, 5/16" wide, the points are
15/16" and 13/16", and they weigh 1 3/4 oz unboxed. Not signed as to
the maker. These are in reasonably good condition and were cleaned.
The bodies have some light wear but nothing too bad. There are no
cracks that I can see. The screws have a few dings on the threads but
they travel the full distance and remove. The one steel tip is shorter
as mentioned. They both are good otherwise but do not remove. These
small ones do not show up every day. $35.00

Old No 8 Rivet Set Or Setter. Measuring 4 5/16" long, the dimple is
1/4" in diameter, the post hole is 3/32", and this weighs 3 1/2 oz
unboxed. This is signed but I don't recognize the mark. This is in
good condition and was lightly cleaned. About the only patina is one
light spot on the back of head. The face and holes are good. The
finish is a little worn. The striking end is good. I gotta say that
this is not a very common size for this tool. $15.00

Millers Falls No 33 Model Makers Block Plane. This weighs 4 3/4 oz
unboxed. This was made before 1952 when Millers Falls swiched to the
grey and red color scheme. This is in decent condition and was cleaned.
Note this is straight, any bending you see is because of camera lens
distortion, although why folks would think that I would sell a bent
plane is beyond me. The sides has some dings of paint but retain almost
all of the finish. The sole is good other than one small and light spot
of pitting. The japanning inside is good other than a little dust
residue. The cap is good and the screw works. The blade is clean on
the cutting face. The blade will need a sharpening. This ain't minty
but I sure don't see too many of these around. $22.00

Small Perfect Handle Style Screwdriver. Measuring 3 13/16" long, the
tip is 1/8" wide, and this weighs 1 oz unboxed. Not signed as to the
maker, this is just faintly marked Germany where most of these small
ones were made. This is in reasonably good condition and was cleaned.
The blade and tip are good. The shaft is clean. The frame has some
light stuff on the sides. The handle scales have some dings and stains
but they are solid and on tight. The end of the handle is good and
doesn't look like it ever got pounded on. This ain't pristine but it
sure ain't bad. $18.00

J S Fray & Company Tool Handle. Measuring 5 3/4" long and this weighs 4
3/4 oz unboxed. This is in reasonably good condition and was cleaned.
There is a little patina on the nut but the chuck is good and the
threads were oiled. The plating on the ferrule is worn off but they
didn't lay it on very heavy to start with. The handle itself is a nice
bit of tiger stripe maple. The cap has deep scratch in it but it's not
cracked. The threads have some wear but the cap stays on. This comes
with the 9 original bits. They are all in good shape, although a few of
them could stand a sharpening. This ain't perfect but it's getting
harder to find these guys with all the bits. $23.00

Small Early Compass Or Divider. Measuring 4 1/4" and this weighs 2 1/2
oz unboxed. Not signed as to the maker. This is in reasonably good
condition. It had been cleaned previously and I did some detailing on
it. The tips were shortened at some point in time. There is some light
patina. The joint is good, although it's bit stiff if you close this
all the way. The tips aren't super sharp but they aren't too bad. This
ain't the fanciest but it is a neat little tool. $15.00
http://oldetoolshop.com/forsale/sept/earlydivider0901.jpg

L S Starrett No C305R Machinist 12 Inch Satin Finish Rule. This weighs
1/2 oz unboxed. This is ruled in 10ths and 100ths on the front and
32nds and 64ths on the back. This is in used but good shape and was not
cleaned. There ain't much in the way of wear or patina. About the only
note is that there are user initials lightly marked in the center of the
front. The edges and corners are good and all the rulings are readable.
There ain't much more to go wrong with one of these guys. $20.00
http://oldetoolshop.com/forsale/sept/machinisttool0908.jpg

Vintage Gun Maker Wood Handle Hand Vise Or Handvise. Measuring 7 9/16"
long, the jaws are 1 1/4" wide, and this weighs 7 1/2 oz unboxed. There
are the initials ST on the one side but I can't say if it's a maker or
user mark. This is in decent condition and was cleaned. There is some
patina on the vise, few lightly pitted spots and some crusty up where
the sun don't shine. The jaws have some scuffs and dings on the edges.
They close up tight and reasonably flush. The cross hatching on the
faces is worn but can be seen and the one has a thin vertical groove in
the center. The handle is the original one. That has a couple of
checks, but the vise is in tight. Now for the READ part, the tang is
bent a little looking from the side and from the front as well. But as
long as you don't use this for a pipe wrench it won't be a problem.
This ain't the prettiest but I sure ain't been seeing too many of these
guys around. $24.00
http://oldetoolshop.com/forsale/sept/handvise0901.jpg

Old P S & W 1/2 Inch Paring Chisel. Measuring 8 1/4" from the edge to
the end of the socket, the blade is 5 11/16" long, this is 12 1/4"
overall, and this weighs 4 3/4 oz unboxed. This is in decent condition
and was cleaned. There are some spots of light pitting on the back
along with some overall frosting. The front has more of the same. I
did clean a whisker of mushrooming off of the socket, both inside and
out. The handle has some stains and dings, mostly on the striking end
but it's solid. This ain't pretty or perfect but it will get the job
done. $17.00
http://oldetoolshop.com/forsale/sept/chisel0910.jpg

Peck Stowe & Wilcox 7 Inch Wing Compass Or Divider. Measuring 7 5/16"
long and this weighs 5 1/4 unboxed. This is in decent condition and was
cleaned. There is a little frosting overall but nothing too bad. The
joint is a touch loose but it's not going to fall about. The locking
screw and fine adjustment nut both work and were oiled. The tips aren't
super sharp but they aren't too bad. This ain't minty but it does have
some age to it and well it ain't all that bad. $18.00
http://oldetoolshop.com/forsale/sept/divider0901.jpg

Goodell Brothers Patent 1897 Reversible Automatic Screwdriver.
Measuring 8 3/4" long when closed (excluding the blade), the tip is
5/16" wide, and this weighs 11 1/4 unboxed. Herbert D. Lanfair and
Henry E. Goodell both of Greenfield, MA were granted Pat. No. 591,097 on
Oct. 5, 1897 for the design of this tool which was made by the Goodell
Brothers Co. This is in reasonably good condition and was cleaned.
Overall there ain't much in the way of patina to fuss about. The blade
does have some light pitting. The cross hatching on the ferrule,
spinner, and the two locking nuts is good. The ferrule is good with no
cracks and has most of the plating. The handle has a few bits of paint
and some dings but it does have most of the original finish plus a coat
of wax. Now the way this guy works is that you lock one of the brass
nuts to have it go one direction, or tighten that one and loosen the
other to go in the opposite direction. Pretty neat eh? This is one of
the earliers reversible ones out there and I have to say from a lot of
experience that they rarely show up in this kind of shape. $22.00

Long Early Hand Forged Slate Splitting Chisel. Measuring 12 1/4" long,
the edge is 2 1/16" wide, and this weighs 1 lb 1 1/4 oz unboxed. Not
signed as to the maker. This is in decent condition overall and was
cleaned. There is some overall light patina but then slate splitting
ain't exactly an indoor sport. The edge is a little banged up and will
need some fine tuning but it's not too bad. The striking button is good
with no cracks. This ain't pristine but these bigger ones sure ain't
getting any easier to find and there was a lot of slate produced around
here. $22.00
http://oldetoolshop.com/forsale/sept/slatetool0901.jpg

P M Co No 6 Forstner Bit For A Brace. Measuring 6 3/4" long, the cut is
6/16" in diameter, and this weighs 2 1/2 oz unboxed. Benjamin Forstner
of Salem, OR was granted Pat. No. 155,148 on Sept. 22, 1874 and Pat. No.
336,709 granted on Feb. 23, 1886 for the design of this tool. This is in
reasonably good condition and was cleaned. There is some light funky
inside the head. I did spray that with yea olde oil of penetration so
you will need to run this thought some scrap once or twice to clean that
out. The cutters feel sharp to the touch, as does the rim edge. The
center point is good as well. The shaft is clean other than a couple of
dings. The tang is good as well. This ain't minty but these guys sure
are getting hard to find. $19.00
http://oldetoolshop.com/forsale/sept/bracetool0903.jpg

Neat Vintage Wood Handle Scratch Or Marking Awl. The blade is 3 7/8"
long, this is 6 7/8" overall, and this weighs 1 oz unboxed. Not signed
as to the maker. This is in decent condition and was cleaned. The
blade is good, I did put a new point on it. The handle is hand carved
oak. That has some stains and dings but it's solid and the blade is in
tight. This ain't the fanciest but it will get the job done. $14.00
http://oldetoolshop.com/forsale/sept/awl0901.jpg

Disston & Morss 12 Inch Cabinet Makers Try Square. Measuring 14 1/8"
overall, the blade is 12 1/4" long, 2 3/8" high, this is 7 7/8" overall
in height, and this weighs 11 3/4 unboxed. This is in decent condition
overall and was cleaned. The blade has some light spots of pitting
except for by the handle on the front where there are some deeper spots.
The blade still retains some of the original bluing. The edges and
corners are good. The handle is mahogany. That has some dings and
stains, just the usual wear. This looks to be true according to the
flip test but it ain't no Starrett. This ain't the prettiest but
considering that it's well over the 100 year old mark, well it sure
ain't that bad and these bigger ones sure ain't been showing up any
prettier. $24.00

Millers Falls No 1950 Buck Rogers 10 Inch Sweep Brace. This weighs 2
lbs 8 1/4 oz unboxed. This model was made by Millers Falls between 1950
and 1976. This is in reasonably good condition and was cleaned. There
is a little patina on the frame and chuck shell but this guy wasn't left
out in the rain. The chuck and jaws are good and the ratchet works in
both directions and the locked setting. The plastic grip and pad have
some light dings and a few bits of paint that didn't want to come off
without out a fight. Both spin freely. This ain't minty but compared
to most of these that I see, well it sure ain't bad. $24.00
http://oldetoolshop.com/forsale/sept/brace0901.jpg

Greenfield Tool Co 5/8 Inch Side Bead Molding Plane. This weighs 1 lb 1
oz unboxed. The Greenfield Tool Co was a Greenfield Mass plane maker in
business from 1851 until 1883. This is in reasonably good condition.
The only cleaning I did was to pretty up the iron a little. The body is
good other than a little chipping on the toe at the fence. The sole and
boxing are good is other than some stains and the mouth is tight. The
wedge is good with no noticeable wear. The iron does have a spot spot
of light pitting and some scuffs but nothing too bad. That will need a
quick sharpening. I gotta say that there aren't too many molding planes
of this age in this kind of condition around much at all. $23.00

Early Taylor Patent 10 Inch Sweep Iron Bitstock. Measuring 12 3/8"
long, the sweep is 10", and this weighs 2 lbs 1 1/2 oz unboxed. Not
signed as to the maker. Jeremy Taylor of Hebron, CT was granted Pat.
No. 9,814 on June 30, 1836 for the design of this tool. These were made
in several different styles by a number of manufacturers over the years.
This is in reasonably good condition for the age and was cleaned.
There is some light patina but nothing too bad. The chuck has a little
crusty inside but there are no cracks and the lever and tab are good.
The sheet iron pad was originally black japanned. Some of that remains
on the inside. There are a few spots of pitting on the outside. The
pad has a little play on the shaft but it spins freely. I did put a
drop of oil in the appropriate hole. I have have a few of these over
the years and they sure ain't getting any easier to find, especially in
this kind of shape. $30.00

AETCO 5/16 Inch Skew Edge Carving Tool Chisel. Measuring 4 5/16" from
the edge to the top of the handle, the blade is 3 11/16" long, this is 9
3/8" overall, and this weighs 2 1/4 oz unboxed. The American Edge Tool
Company worked in or around the Philadelphia PA area, from the late
1940's until the early 1960's. This is in reasonably good condition
and was cleaned. It wasn't used much but it picked up some patina
setting around someplace. The blade has spots of frosting and staining
but nothing too bad. The handle has a few stained spots as well but
it's good otherwise. This ain't the fanciest but it will get the job
done. $14.00

Early Hand Forged Oyster Or Clam Shucking Knife. Measuring 7 3/16" long
and this weighs 9 1/2 oz unboxed. This is signed, but it's too worn to
read. This is in decent condition and was cleaned. There is some
overall patina, pitting and what have you. The blade has some roughness
around the edge. The handle has some dings on the edges and one spot
that is fairly banged up. But this guy is solid. This ain't pristine
but these older ones got rode hard and put away wet more times than one
could count. $24.00

Very Early Hand Forged Carpenters Housewright Claw Hammer Head.
Measuring 4 5/8" long (straight across) and this weighs 13 3/4 oz
unboxed. Not signed as to the maker. This is in fair condition and was
cleaned. This looks to be a dug item. This has a steel face on a
wrought iron body and the tops of the claws are lined with steel as
well. There is some overall pitting. The face has some chipping around
the edges and the claws have some chipping on the edges as well. The
punched eye has some crusty going and looking at the top, this may have
been a strap hammer when first made. This is what it is and it's not
what I would call a user but it does have some serious age to it. $20.00

Blacksmith Hand Forged Double Face 1 3/4 lb Sledge Hammer Head.
Measuring 4 1/4" long, the one face is 1 1/4" wide, 1 1/8" high, the
other face is 1 1/8" wide, 1" wide, and this weighs 1 lb 11 1/2 oz
unboxed. Not signed as to the maker. This is in decent condition and
was cleaned. The body has some light patina and some dings but nothing
too bad there. Both faces have some dings and a little chipping around
the edges. The punched eye is good to go. This ain't minty but for an
old dog, well it sure ain't bad either. $18.00

Twelve Cabinet Makers 2 Inch Pinch Dogs. They are 2" or so wide, 1/4"
thick at the top, and they weigh 1 lb 3 1/2 oz unboxed. Not signed as
to the maker. These are in used condition and were cleaned. There
ain't much in the way of patina but these were never real pretty to
start with. The tops are good, some of the tips will need some tending
too. These ain't the fanciest but they are working tools. $25.00

is marked 100 B, 11, 6" high, 5 5/8" wide across the base, the one on
the right is marked 130 B, #6, that is 6 5/8" high, 8 3/8" wide, and
they weigh 11 oz unboxed. These are in decent condition and were
lightly cleaned. There is some patina from setting around, little
rusting and what have you. These are what they are but they are neat
collectibles. $20.00

L S Starrett No 162 Machinist Pin Vise. Measuring 3 3/4" long with the
chuck completely closed and this weighs 3/4 unboxed. There is no size
mark but it looks like a B to me. This is in decent condition and was
cleaned. The chuck and jaws are good. There is some wear to the cross
hatching on the shaft and chuck. The center is clear all the way
through. This ain't pristine but it will get the job done. $14.00

Moulson Brothers 7/16 Inch Gouge. Measuring 7 1/8" from the edge to the
top of the handle, the blade is 5 9/16" long, 7/16" wide across the
outside of the sweep, this is 13 9/16" overall, and this weighs 3 1/2 oz
unboxed. The Moulson Brothers were Sheffield England makers of edge and
other tools in business from 1828 unti 1905. This is in decent
condition and was cleaned. There are some spots of light pitting and
frosting on the back and a few tiny deeper spots. Inside the sweep
there are more of the same. The edge isn't too bad but it will need
some work. The handle looks to be the original one. That has some
dings and stains and there is a user name stamped in a couple of places.
The handle is solid and the blade is in tight. This ain't pristine
but these long gouges sure ain't been showing up much of late, at least
around these here parts. $18.00

F G Pearson Sheffield 9 Inch Cabinet Makers Try Square. Measuring 10
5/8" overall, the blade is 9 1/16" long, 2 3/8" high, this is 7 5/16"
overall in height, and this weighs 11 oz unboxed. F. G. Pearson was a
Sheffield England jointers tool maker in business from 1865 until 1900.
This is in reasonably good condition and was cleaned. The blade has
some areas of light rust etching on both sides but nothing too deep and
it has most of the original bluing. The edges and corners are good.
The handle is beech. That has some stains and dings but nothing too
bad. This looks to be true according to the old flip test but if you
want Starrett accuracy, well buy a Starrett. Just saying. This ain't
perfect but it sure ain't bad considering that it's well over the 100
year old mark. $22.00

Old Oilstone Slip Sharpening Stone For Gouges & Carving Tools.
Measuring a little under 4 7/16" long, 1 3/4" high, 3/16" wide across
the narrow end, 7/16" across the wider end. and this weighs 4 oz
unboxed. Not signed as to the maker. This is in used condition and was
cleaned. There ain't much in the way of patina to fuss about. There is
a small chip on the one side at the wide edge and a worn spot down by
the thinner edge on the other side. The wider edge has some light wear,
the smaller one is good. This ain't pristine but it will get the job
done. $15.00

Vintage 6 Oz Ball Peen Hammer. Measuring 10 1/2" overall, the head is 2
9/16" long, the face is 13/16" in diameter, the peen is 5/8" in
diameter, and this weighs 6 3/4 oz unboxed. Not signed as to the maker.
This is in decent condition and was cleaned. The head has some light
patina. The face has some frosting and a few chips around the edge.
The peen is good other than the tiny dimple in the center. The handle
is old and could well be the original one. That has some chipping and
dings under the eye, the usual stains, and some dings at the end. That
feels solid enough but I wouldn't recommend trying to drive 16 penny
framing nails with this guy. Just saying. This ain't pretty or perfect
but it does have some age to it. $17.00
