Soak in holy water overnight, have an imam pray towards Mecca three times, have
a rabbi use it in a tevilah, and invoke the power of Woden and Thor (ideally
without blood sacrifice, but I'm not judging.)

I wonder if freezing it would work but I'm not suggesting that because I don't
know the moisture content.....

Here in NC, USA leaving it in the sun for a day would probably do it.....ship it
to me after Irma passes I'll give it a go.
