I got some ColourFX tints today to use to tone shellac to match the 
existing finish on our mid-century ribbon-stripe mahogany doors. I 
suspect the door skins were bleached before finishing, perhaps at the 
factory, to kill the red. Anyway, I'm making some progress approaching 
the tone that I need, but I wondered if anyone has tips to share about 
using this product. I gather it's much like Transtint.
