Second run of goodies for the month of March, lots of good users and
collectible tools as well.
I'd really prefer a check for payment for all items. On items less than
$25 (not including shipping) no PayPal. On combined purchases totaling
over $25 then PayPal is okay. This is for the USA buyers only. The out
of country folks, PayPal will be accepted for all purchase, unless you
want to send me a US denominated money order, then that is fine. Sorry
for the inconvenience but I'm just trying to cut the costs down a bit here.
And remember........da more ya buy, the cheaper they fly!
First contact (that is e-mail, or phone) that says I want it gets it.
Oldtools terms, except on items and orders over $100, if I don't know ya
or haven't done business in the past (and my records good way back..)
then it's pre-pay. I do take PayPal (except as noted). Prices do not
include shipping. All items are shipped with Delivery Confirmation.
Insurance, unless it is a big order or a very fragile item is optional.
Just let me know. Also, I am shipping a lot more stuff via First Class
mail. There will be a small amount added to the shipping cover the cost
of the padded mailer. I don't get them for free.

Collectibles
Vacuum Grip Snap On No 105 Slip Joint 5 Inch Pliers. Measuring 5" long
and this weighs 1 3/4 oz unboxed. This is in used but reasonably good
condition and was cleaned. There are some areas of light patina, mainly
on the sides of the arms. The jaws have some light dings but they are
good to go. The joint is good. This ain't pristine but it sure ain't
bad either. $18.00
http://www.oldetoolshop.com/forsale/mar/pliers0303.jpg
Uncommon Early Hand Forged Turkey Catcher. Measuring 10 1/2" long and
this weighs 1 lb 2 3/4 oz unboxed. Not signed as to the maker. This is
in decent condition and was cleaned. Now let's get this out of the way,
this is too small to be a hog catcher, and it's too big to be a chicken
catcher, so it has to be a turkey catcher. This ain't my first rodeo
with one of these guys. There is some overall patina, pitting and what
have you. The one tip is bent just a little. The joint has a little
wiggle but nothing too bad. The socket has some dings and there is an
old brazing line down the seam but it's solid. I gotta say that these
guys sure don't show up very often. I have some other good collectible
hand forged farm tools up here as well so make a pile and save on the
shipping. $32.00

Stortz Philadelphia Old Wood Handle Fid or Marlinspike. Measuring 9
3/4" long and this weighs 5 1/4 oz unboxed. This is in decent
condition and was cleaned. There is some light pitting on the blade and
shaft. The ferrule also has some patina. The handle has some checks
and wear at the end. The washer at the end that is peened to the tang
of the blade is a bit banged up as well. Stuff happens when you get
old. This ain't pretty or perfect but these guys sure don't show up
every day. $17.00
http://www.oldetoolshop.com/forsale/mar/fid0301.jpg
M & M Patent 1900 Staple Puller & Fencing Pliers. Measuring 10 3/8"
long and this weighs 1 lb 6 1/2 oz unboxed. George D. and Lynn C.
Maxson of Edmeston, NY were granted Pat. No. 650,186 on May 22, 1900 for
the design of this tool. This is in decent condition and was cleaned.
There is some overall patina but let's face it, fencing ain't exactly an
indoor sport (been there, done that!) The jaws are good for the most
part, there is some crusty down inside that I couldn't get to with the
cleaning machine. I did oil the joint because it was a bit squeeky.
The handles have some file or chisel marks, my guess is that they are
user added rulings of some kind. The one handle is a little bent. This
ain't pretty or perfect but it wasn't made to do a pretty job either.
$25.00

Decatur Coffin Co 1884 Patent Spiral Screwdriver. Measuring 9 1/2" when
closed, 14 1/4" when extended, the tip is 1/4" wide and this weighs 6
1/2 oz unboxed. Christopher H. Olson of Decatur, IL was granted Pat.
No. 306,096 on Oct. 7, 1884 for the design of this tool which was sold
by the Decatur Coffin Co. also of Decatur, IL. The mark is faint but
there is enough to make the call. This is in decent condition and was
cleaned. The blade is good. The grooves inside feel like they have
some wear but this does work like it's supposed to work. This only
screws in, although I'm sure some of guys are more than capable of
screwing up with it. The brass has some staining and a few dings. The
handle is the original one. That has some wear and dings but it's
solid. This ain't minty but these guys rarely are and they sure don't
show up very often, at least around here. $38.00
http://www.oldetoolshop.com/forsale/mar/pushscrewdriver0301.jpg
Early Hand Forged Broad Or Hewing Hatchet Or Axe Head. The head is 5
1/4" long (across the center), the edge is 3 5/16" high (straight
across), and this weighs 1 lb 11 oz unboxed. Not signed as to the
maker. It does not look like a reforged hammer head. This is in decent
condition overall and was cleaned. There is some overall light patina.
The back has some light pitting and scuffs. The edge has some dings but
that will need a sharpening. The hammer poll has a little mushrooming.
The punched eye is good other than a little crusty. This ain't minty
but it does have some age to it. $30.00
http://www.oldetoolshop.com/forsale/mar/earlyaxe0301.jpg
Early Hand Forged 18th Century Compass or Divider. Measuring 5 1/16"
long and this weighs 2 1/4 oz unboxed. This is signed but I can't read
the mark other than a few letters. This is in decent condition overall
and was cleaned. There is some overall frosting. The 5 finger joint
(3+2) which is found on the better quality tools of the day is good.
The tips had been attacked with a grinder before this got here. I did
clean that mess up a bit but there still are some scuffs remaining.
This ain't pristine but these guys are sure getting hard to come by. $28.00
http://www.oldetoolshop.com/forsale/mar/earlydivider0301.jpg
Early Hand Forged 1 1/2 Inch Butt or Buttonhole Chisel. Measuring 4
3/8" from the edge to the top of the handle, the blade is 2 3/16" long,
this is 7 9/16" overall, and this weighs 5 1/2 oz unboxed. Not signed
as to the maker. I'm thinking that this is a wide buttonhole chisel
looking at the way that the blade is made and the shape of the handle.
This is in fair condition overall. Someone else did a powerwash on the
blade and left some noticeable scuffs. I toned that down a bit but it's
still visible. There is some pitting on both sides of the blade. The
edge would need a sharpening. The handle is good other than some
stains. This is far from perfect but these guys sure do not show up
every day, week, or month. $32.00
http://www.oldetoolshop.com/forsale/feb/earlychisel0201.jpg
Lion Brand No 501 Yankee Cutlery Fancy Handle Straight Razor. The blade
is 3 13/16" long across the edge (straight across), 5/8" wide (a little
less at the tip), and this weighs 1 1/4 oz unboxed. This is in decent
condition overall and was cleaned. The blade has some wear and frosting
on both sides. The edge has some tiny dings and will need a sharpening.
The blade is magnetized as it says on the back tang. There is some
crusty under the joint. The fancy handle looks to be celluloid. That
has some stains and light scratches. This ain't minty but these guys
sure don't show up very often. $25.00
http://www.oldetoolshop.com/forsale/jan/razor0102.jpg
Old Hand Forged Farriers Clinch Cutter. Measuring 6 1/2" long, the
blade is 1 7/16" wide across the edge, and this weighs 7 oz unboxed.
This was forged from an old file or rasp and still has the file maker's
mark on it, which usually gets lost when these guys are forged. This is
in decent condition and was cleaned. There is the usual patina found on
these items. The blades aren't sharp but they ain't too bad. The small
one, rather than being a punch, has a gouge shape, which is uncommon.
There is some mushrooming on top of both blades and a little on the
handle. This is a neat example of this kind of tool and these kind of
items are a very underappreciated folk art form. $24.00
http://www.oldetoolshop.com/forsale/jan/hffarrierstool0101.jpg
Early Hand Forged PA Dutch Dough Scraper. Measuring 4 1/8" long
(straight across). the blade is 4 1/8" wide, and this weighs 8 1/4 oz
unboxed. Not signed as to the maker. This is in decent condition and
was cleaned. The blade has pitting on both sides. There is a ding on
the one corner. The handle is hollow and was plugged at some point in
time. The handle has some light patina and you can see the forge weld
seam on the side but it's solid. These guys sure ain't been showing up
much around here. $30.00

Woodworking Tools
Stanley Yankee No 41Y Push Drill. This weighs 9 1/2 oz unboxed. This
is in used but reasonably good condition and was not cleaned. There are
some scuffs on the plating and the knurlings but nothing too bad. The
chuck and spring are good. This has 10 bits, a couple of them aren't
blued but that's what this guy came with and that's what it's leaving
with. They are all good, length wise but a few of they could stand a
quick sharpening. This ain't minty but I sure ain't been seeing too
many that are. $18.00
http://www.oldetoolshop.com/forsale/mar/yankee0301.jpg
Stanley SW No 2 Winterbottoms 9 Inch Try & Mitre Square. Measuring 9"
long, 5 13/16" high, and this weighs 8 1/4 oz unboxed. This is in
decent condition and was cleaned. There is some frosting on the blade
and a few spots of light pitting. All the rulings are readable. The
handle has some dings and wear. There are user initials carved on the
front. This looks to be true according to the old flip test but it
ain't no Starrett. This ain't pristine but it will get the job done.
$18.00

Neat Old Offset Blade Carving Tool Clean Out Chisel. Measuring 6 1/8"
overall, the blade is 9/16" long, 1/4" wide, and this weighs 1 oz
unboxed. Not signed as to the maker, it looks to be user crafted. This
is in reasonably good condition and was cleaned. The blade is good and
sharp. The shaft has some scuff marks left over from when this was
made. The handle is rosewood. That is good other than some light dings
around the turning. This is what it is, but this is handy tool to say
the least. $14.00
http://www.oldetoolshop.com/forsale/mar/carvingtool0301.jpg
Vintage 3/8 Inch Skew Carving Tool Chisel. Measuring 7 9/16" overall,
the blade is 3 1/2" from the tip to the start of the handle, and this
weighs 1 3/4 oz unboxed. Not signed as to the maker. This is in decent
condition and was cleaned. There is some light pitting on both sides of
the blade but since this get's sharpened to a knife edge that won't be a
problem. The handle has some checks at the top but the blade is in
tight. This ain't pretty but it will get the job done. $14.00
http://www.oldetoolshop.com/forsale/mar/carvingtool0302.jpg
Stanley No 42 Sawset or Saw Set. This weighs 13 oz unboxed. This is in
decent condition and was cleaned. The japanning is original and about
85% present as is the decal. There are some spots of paint there and
here. The anvil is good. The plunger has some light patina but the tip
is good as is the spring. Both screws work and were oiled. This ain't
a 42X and don't buy it, thinking that it is, but it will get the job
done. $18.00
http://www.oldetoolshop.com/forsale/mar/sawset0301.jpg
James Swan 3/4 Inch Paring Or Bevel Edged Firmer Chisel. Measuring 8
13/16" from the edge to the end of the socket, the blade is 6 5/16" long
(down the center), this is 11" overall, and this weighs 9 1/4 oz
unboxed. Swan and a few other makers made sets of chisels with a single
handle. This is in reasonbly good condition and was lightly cleaned.
The back is good other than some light scuffs and a couple of dots. The
front has some staining. Somebody sharpened this to a point for lathe
work but that is easily fixed. The handle end is good. Complete sets
of these guys sell for a pretty good buck and finding missing pieces
sure ain't that easy. $18.00
http://www.oldetoolshop.com/forsale/mar/chisel0307.jpg
Douglass Mfg Co 3/4 Inch Wheelwrights Corner Chisel. Measuring 10 1/2"
from the edge to the end of the socket, the blade is 6 7/8" long, and
this weighs 13 1/2 oz unboxed. This is in decent condition and was
cleaned. There is some pitting on the backs, most of it light but there
are some deeper spots. The inside has some crusty but they were never
finished off real pretty like to start with. The edge was sharpened
recently but it will need a quick touch-up The socket has some pitting
and I did take a wee bit of mushrooming off of the inside. This will
need a handle, I don't have any here that fit. This ain't pretty or
perfect but it will get the job done. $25.00
http://www.oldetoolshop.com/forsale/mar/chisel0306.jpg
Vintage Cast Iron Cross Cut Saw Setting Bar Tool or Wrest. Measuring 7"
long, roughly 3/4" squaure, and this weighs 8 3/4 oz unboxed. Not
signed as to the maker. This is in decent condition and was cleaned.
There is some patina, the sides have some roughness but I don't think
that they were finished off real pretty to start with. The setting
teeth are good. There is some light crusty down inside the groove.
This is what it is but it is a working tool. $15.00
http://www.oldetoolshop.com/forsale/mar/sawtool0301.jpg
Craftsman No 41759 Micro Dial By Irwin Expansion Brace Bit. This weighs
7 1/2 oz unboxed. This was made by Irwin for Sears. This is in used
but good condition and was lighty cleaned, mostly to remove some saw
dust. The lead screw is good. This has both of the original blades and
they are good as well. The screw and clamp do their job with grace and
style and there ain't nothing to fuss about with the tang. The case has
some light shop patina but it's solid. Despite what you may think about
about the Craftsman brand, this is a quality tool. $14.00
http://www.oldetoolshop.com/forsale/mar/bracetool0304.jpg
Parker NY 11/16 Inch Paring or Bevel Edge Firmer Chisel. Measuring 5
11/16" from the edge to the top of the handle, the blade is 3 13/16"
long, this is 10 7/8" overall, and this weighs 5 3/4 oz unboxed. The
mark is Parker, NY US. I can't find anything on this maker. This is in
reasonably good condition and was cleaned. The back has some frosting
and a few dots but nothing too bad. The front has some light patina as
well. The handle is good other than a small chip under the leather
washers and some staining. This ain't perfect but it will get the job
done. $16.00
http://www.oldetoolshop.com/forsale/mar/chisel0308.jpg
Charles Buck 1/4 Inch Firmer or Carving Chisel. Measuring 4 7/16" from
the edge to the top of the handle, the blade is 3 3/8" long, this is 9
7/8" overall, and this weighs 2 oz unboxed. Charles Buck was on of the
original Buck Brothers who left to form his own company which was in
business from 1873 until 1915. His tools are considered to be of better
quality than the other Bucks by a lot of folks. This is in reasonably
good condition and was cleaned. There are some light scuffs, frosting,
and a few tiny dots on the back, but nothing too bad. The top has more
of the same. I roughed in a new edge but that will need some more
attention. The handle is the original one. That has some stains and a
little mushrooming on the striking end but it's solid. This ain't
pristine but it will get the job done. $16.00
http://www.oldetoolshop.com/forsale/mar/chisel0304.jpg

from the edge to the top of the handle, the blade is 3 1/2" long, this
is 9 3/4" overall, and this weighs 2 oz unboxed. This is in decent
condition and was cleaned. The back of the blade has some frosting and
a few dots and spots but nothing too bad. The top has a few spots of
light pitting. The handle is the original one. That has some dings,
wear, and a user mark on the one side. The handle is solid. This ain't
pretty or perfect but it will get the job done. $15.00

Vintage Keen Kutter 7/16 Inch Socket Gouge. Measuring 8 1/4" from the
edge to the end of the socket, the blade is 5 13/16" long, 7/16" wide
across the outside of the sweep, this is 12 9/16" overall, and this
weighs 4 3/4 oz unboxed. This is in decent condition and was cleaned.
There is a patch of light pitting on the inside of the sweep but there
is clean steel before and aft. The back has a few dots but that is
clean enough that if you want to flip the bevel, there won't be any
problems. There is a little pitting on the side edges as well. The
socket is good, I did take a whisker of mushrooming off of the end. The
handle is a replacement. That has some stains and dings but it's solid.
This ain't perfect but it will get the job done. $17.00
http://www.oldetoolshop.com/forsale/mar/chisel0301.jpg
E C Stearns No 500 Folding Hand Saw Sharpening Vise. Measuring 12 1/16"
long and this weighs 2 lbs 8 1/2 oz unboxed. This is marked Pat.
Applied For but I can't find where any was ever issued. This is in
decent condition and was cleaned. There is some overall patina. The
black finished areas has some funky and a few bits of paint. The plated
blade locking bar has some rusting at the ends. The lever works and the
bar travels the full distance. The rubber piece that sets inside is a
bit dried out but it's there. The clamp that locks this to the
workbench is good. This ain't the prettiest but these guys rarely are.

and they weigh 1 lb 9 oz unboxed. J T Pugh was a Philadelphia PA auger
bit maker in business from the 1870's until the early part of the
Twentieth Century. The mark on the No. 12 is faint but there is enough
to make the call. These are in reasonably good condition and were
cleaned. There ain't much in the way of patina to fuss about. The lead
screw on the No. 12 is good but the cutters could stand a sharpening.
The tip of the lead screw has some wear but after that it is good and
the cutters are sharp. Both tangs have some dings and light wear.
These ain't perfect but they sure ain't bad and that No. 17 sure does

teeth are present, and this guy is sharp. The tote is good other than a

along the edge. The tote is beech. That has some dings and stains but
nothing too bad. That has the original finish plus a coat of wax. I
did not have it off of the tool. This ain't pristine but these guys

a little sharpening. The center point is worn. The shaft is clean
other than a couple of dings and a score mark, probably for depth. The

Small Old Hand Forged Blacksmith Rivet Tongs. Measuring 12" long, the
jaws are 11/16" deep, about 5/8" wide at the tips, the grooves are 5/16"
across, and this weighs 1 lb 1 1/2 oz unboxed. Not signed as to the
maker. This is in decent condition and was cleaned. There is some
patina but stuff happens. The jaws are good other than a little crusty.
The joint is good with just a little wiggle. The handles have some
pitting but they are solid. This ain't going to be an every day pair of
tongs but there are times when it could come in right handy. $18.00

Blacksmith Hand Forged 3 lb 10 oz Straight Peen Hammer Head. Measuring
6" long, the face is 1 3/8" high (across the center), 1 3/16" wide, the
peen is 1 9/16" high, and this weighs 3 lbs 10 3/4 oz unboxed. Not
signed as to the maker. This is in decent condition and was cleaned.
There is some overall patina, including some dings on the sides, but
nothing too bad. The face has some light dings and wear around the
edges. The peen is good. The punched eye is good, there is some
scuffing around the top from a previous handle job. This ain't minty
but it is a solid tool. $22.00

Old Pexto Tinsmith Panel or Paneling Hammer Head. Measuring 4 3/4"
long, the face is 13/16" wide, 7/8" high, the peen is 7/8" wide, and
this weighs 11 1/2 oz unboxed. This is in decent condition and was
cleaned. There are some dings on the body and some pitting on the one
side. The face has a band of light pitting and a few dings around the
edges. The peen was dressed at some point and that is good to go. The
eye has funky inside left over from when this was made. This ain't
pretty but it wasn't made to do a pretty job either. $15.00

Old Hand Forged Curved Jaws Blacksmith Tongs. Measuring 15 1/4" long,
the jaws are 15/16" deep, 4" wide at the tips, and this weighs 1 lb 1
1/2 oz unboxed. Not signed as to the maker. These are in decent
condition and were cleaned. There is the usual patina found on these
guys. The jaws are good although a bit on the sharp side. The rivet
ain't no thing of beauty. The joint has some wiggle but they ain't
gonna fall apart. The handles are good to go, there is a small void on
the one by a forge weld line but they ain't cracked. This ain't perfect
but they are a good size for the smaller jobs. $22.00
http://www.oldetoolshop.com/forsale/jan/blacksmith0104.jpg
Hand Forged Early Blacksmith Tongs. Measuring 17" long, the lower jaw
is about 1" deep, 1/2 wide at the tip, and this weighs 1 lb 6 3/4 oz
unboxed. Not signed as to the maker. This is the usual condition for a
blacksmith's tool and was lightly cleaned. The upper jaw is notched as
shown in the pretty picture, the lower jaw is flat save for a little
mushrooming on the tip. What this was for, I ain't gotta clue but
somebody must have needed one like this. The joint has a little wiggle
but it ain't gonna fall apart. The forge welds where the handles were
attached have a little bit of a void but these ain't cracked that I can
see. This is what it is, but it is kinda neat eh? $20.00

Very Early 2 lb Plus Hand Forged Blacksmith Cross Peen Hammer.
Measuring 5" long, the face is roughly 1 9/16" high, 1 1/8" wide, the
peen is 1 1/2" wide, and this weighs 2 lbs 11 oz unboxed. Not signed
as to the maker. This is in well used condition and was cleaned. There
is some overall patina. This has a steel face on a wrought iron body.
The face has some deep dinging and chipping at the center. I can't tell
if there is steel at the peen but I'm guessing that there is. The peen
has some light pitting but nothing too bad there. The eye has wear on
the one side on the bottom. This ain't pretty or perfect but it's so
old that I bet it's grand kids have grand kids. Just saying. $24.00

Anything & Everything Else
Millers Falls Machinist 9 Inch Outside Caliper. Measuring 9" long and
this weighs 5 oz unboxed. This is in used but good condition and was
cleaned. There is a little frosting on the arms and user initials
marked on the one. The tips are good. The screw threads and nut are
good and the spring is springy. There ain't a whole lot more to fuss
about and this is a quality tool to say the least. $17.00

Walker No 2 Hand Forged Cobblers Lasting Pliers. Measuring 8 1/8" long,
the jaws are 3/8" wide at the tips, and this weighs 8 3/4 oz unboxed.
John Walker is listed as a Saddlers' Tool Maker in Birmingham England,
in the 1818 Wrightsons directory. This is in decent condition for the
age and was cleaned. There are some spots of pitting, mainly around the
jaws. The jaw teeth have some wear and the jaws don't close completely
tight but close enough to use. The hammer face has some dings and a
couple of small chips off of the top. The through-the-center joint is
good with just a little wiggle. The handles are good for the most part,
the one end was dressed down a touch before this got here. First one of
these that I have had by this maker and I don't expect to see too many
more. $18.00

Old Pexto No 2A Tinsmith Stove Pipe Snips or Shears. Measuring 13 3/8"
long and this weighs 2 lbs 3 oz unboxed. This one isn't signed but not
all of these were. These are in decent condition and were cleaned by
someone else. The jaws are good and cut thin cardboard cleanly. The
joint is good as well. I didn't try the crimper screws or nuts but the
teeth are good. The handles have some funky at the ends but they are
solid. This ain't pristine but it will get the job done. $24.00

Vintage Sargent 9 Inch Wing Compass Or Divider. Measuring 9 1/4" long
and this weighs 8 unboxed. This is in decent condition and was cleaned.
There is some overall light pitting on the arms and a little more on
the wing. The tips are good. The joint is good as well. The locking
screw and the fine adjustment nut work and were oiled. This ain't
pretty but then neither are you. $18.00

Four Aloxite No 81A Machinist Sharpening Stones or Files. They measure
2 1/4" long, 7/8" high, 3/16" thick across the top, and they weigh 1 1/4
oz unboxed. These were made by the Carborundum Company. These are NOS,
that's New Old Stock, only one is marked but they came out of the same
box. The one has a small chip on the corner, the other three are good
other than a little staining. It's sure getting hard to find these
older ones, at least around here. $16.00

Big Old Hand Forged Square Tapered Reamer Blade. Measuring 7 11/16"
overall, the blade is 5 3/8" long, roughly 11/16" square at the top, and
this weighs 8 oz unboxed. Not signed as to the maker, there are user
initials on the side of the blade. This is in decent condition and was
cleaned. There are some spots of light pitting on the blade and the
edges have some dings, but it's not too bad. My guess is that this guy
was fitted to a wood handle at some point but that was gone when it got
here and the end of the tang was mushroomed which was cleaned off. The
tang is good otherwise. This is what it is, but it does have some age
to it and it's not a total basket case either. $16.00

J Stevens A & T Co 6 Inch Machinist Inside Caliper. Measuring 6 1/4"
long and this weighs 2 oz unboxed. Joshua Stevens of Chicopee Falls, MA
was granted Pat. No, 337,531 on Mar. 09, 1886 for the design of the
spring (which is where it is marked), Pat. No. 377,868 on Feb. 14, 1888
for the design of the joint (marked on the leg faintly), and Pat. No.
351,474 on Oct. 26, 1886 for the quick adjustment nut (which is where
that is marked). This was made by the J. Stevens Arms & Tool Co. also
of Chicopee Falls, MA. This was made somewhere between 1888 and 1896,
when the company was bought out and the new owners focused on gun
making. This is in decent condition and was cleaned. There is some
overall frosting and a few spots of light pitting on the arms. There is
some crusty up inside the joint. The threads are a little bumpy but the
nut turns and the quick set or adjustment works as well. This ain't
minty but these guys sure have been few and far between of late. $18.00

Uncommon J Booth Wide Turnscrew or Screwdriver Brace Auger Bit.
Measuring 5 7/16" long, the blade is a hair under 9/16" wide at the tip,
and this weighs 2 oz unboxed. John Booth made brace and edge tools in
Philadelphia PA from 1850 until 1854 and later was part of Booth &
Mills, also of Philadelphia. This is in decent condition and was
cleaned. There is some overall patina. The end of the blade was
thinned down at some point and there are faint user initials on the
blade. I did take a little mushrooming off of the end of the tang and
that is good to go. This ain't minty but this is not a very common size
for one of these guys and this is wide enough to be modified to make a
split nut screwdriver bit for working on old saws. $14.00

Boxed Set Hogggson 3/32 Inch Roman Font Number Stamps. This all weighs
9 1/4 oz unboxed. These are in used but good condition and were not
cleaned. All the figures are good, I tried each one on a piece of
cardboard and they made a full mark, except for the tail of the 6/9
figure which is worn a little. The striking ends are good with almost
no wear. The box has staining and is missing part of the label but
that's why it's there. The box is solid. This ain't minty but these
are quality tools. $18.00

Wood Handle Brass Jaw Pin Vise. Measuring 3 9/16" long and this weighs
1 oz unboxed. Not signed as to the maker. This is in used but good
condition and was lightly cleaned. Other than some light scuffs on the
shaft, there isn't much in the way of patina. The chuck and brass jaws
are good. The shaft isn't hollow but it will take about 1" of wire.
The wood handle is good. This is, what it is, but this is a handy tool.
$14.00

Unusual Hand Forged Farriers Clinch Cutter. Measuring 6 1/2" long, the
blade is 1 1/8" wide (straight across the edge), and this weighs 7 3/4
oz unboxed. Not signed as to the maker. This is in decent condition
and was cleaned. There is some patina but nothing too bad. The blade
has some light pitting on both sides and there are some chips on the
edge. The top of the blade has the usual bloom on mushrooming on the
top. The handle is good. I have sold a few of these over the years but
this is the first one that I can recall with a curved blade. $17.00
